Job Description

**Job Summary: **

Responsible for the design and execution of the CSC Learning and Development (L&D;) Strategy that drives delivery of the CSC customer experience and increases the skill set of our associates across the organization. This role functions as a key business partner with CSC leaders and consults/advises on L&D; plans, training methodology and manages / reports on the effectiveness of training programs and initiatives. This role works in concert with the training delivery organization ensuring effective learning solutions are implemented as well as ensures timely, accurate, and efficient client reporting.

**Functional Responsibilities:**

* Consults across all CSC, GTO, and Enterprise L&D; to integrate plans and ensure alignment of approach.
* Conducts needs analysis to identify training related opportunities and leverages talent management resources to further analyze and recommend appropriate solutions, to include performance management, and training solutions.
* Evaluates and reports on impact of learning solutions, including ROI, on business performance; provides suggestions on actions to address the root cause whether training related or not.
* Recommends progressive learning solutions that meet our internal customers’ needs and business goals, including virtual training solutions.
* Works closely with training delivery to ensure execution of training strategy.
* Tracks all training related projects in flight on the master training collision calendar and works with training delivery on demand planning and prioritization.
* Partners with CSC leaders to forecast and prioritize training implications of business plans
* Ensures all initiatives are delivered on-time, according to budget and in-scope.
* In partnership with training delivery, defines training delivery requirements and may participate in the certification of trainers to deliver training as required for their functional alignments.
* Forecasts, manages and reports on financial implications of initiatives to include performance to plan and projected budget vs. actual spend.
* Ensures execution of agreed upon plans for learning solutions through partnership CSC leadership
* Interfaces with functional leaders to anticipate challenges and provide an avenue for escalations.

Job Requirements

**Required Qualifications:**

* Demonstrated experience in application of learning strategy skills.
* 10 + years of experience required in related field (Training and Development, Leadership & Organizational development, Human Resources related functional Leadership).
* 3+ years training leader and/or related functional leadership experience
* Ability to think strategically and manage efforts through flawless execution.
* Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, project management and operational training experience.
* Proven experience with applying best practices and trends in adult education, blended learning, instructional design, e-learning, and learning delivery systems.
* Advanced consulting skills and a true customer service orientation toward internal clients
* Strong analytic and diagnostic skills with a data-driven and metrics-driver approach.
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
* Enterprise-wide thinker with the ability to work well at all levels of the organization.
* Demonstrated competence in influencing and obtaining buy-in from stakeholders at multiple levels of an organization.
* Experience building strong relationships with colleagues in diverse geographic locations and executing in a virtual environment.
* Proven track record of leading through influence and management of a dynamic training program.
* Strong knowledge of PC desktop packages (preferably Microsoft Office) with strong Excel skills
* Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic and virtual environment.
* Ability and willingness to travel (up to 40% of the time).

**Key Competencies, Knowledge, and Skills Preferred:**

* BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired.
* Master’s Degree in related discipline strongly desired.
* Experience in Human Resources and Contact Center Training
* Experience in the insurance/financial industry desired.
* Excellent training and facilitation skills.
* Proven results with strategic thinking, creativity, and deployment of training initiatives linked to business outcomes.
