Senior Cost Analyst / SME
Department: DS TAT
Location: Dayton, OH
Qualis Corporation is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst / SME to support the US Air Force Global Strike Command in Dayton, OH. This is a part-time position.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Provides expert analytical and/or financial solutions for highly complex technical/scientific programs
* Develops, gathers, organizes and analyzes program activities and data, such as acquisition or material solutions planning, program “should cost” analyses, financial management, cost analysis, and other tasks related to Government programs, weapon systems, or similar complex programs.
* Analyzes and formats information used to evaluate a Government program/weapon system/ similar complex program.
* Develops, plans, coordinates and integrates systems-related requirements to support operational needs.
* Contributes subject matter expertise and advice to the customer at a level that is typically attained via technical education and professional experience.
Education and Experience Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance required. Master’s degree preferred.
* Minimum of 12 years recent directly-related experience providing financial analysis for DoD ACAT I acquisition programs required.
* Minimum of 20 years’ experience providing cost estimating, cost modeling, cost analysis, program analysis, program management, scheduling, and related cost, schedule, and technical analysis.
* Experience with cost analysis and estimation in support of the acquisition of US Air Force Electronic Warfare systems required.
* Experience with following guidelines and requirements of DoDI 5000.02 required.
* Experience with US Air Force Life Cycle Management Command highly desired.
* Experience with the ACEIT model desired.
* Experience in analysis of historical costs desired.
* Candidate must exemplify a dedication to achieving the mission of the customer as well as high standards of quality and excellence in performing the duties.
* Must be able to work in a fast paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
* Must have the ability to quickly understand the customers’ overall technical objectives and mission and provide effective solutions.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capabilities.
* Must be able to work effectively alone, unsupervised, or within a group.
* Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
Security Clearance
* Active Secret Clearance required.
