**Role Summary:**

Perform essential duties and responsibilities in the Maintenance Department in support of the Operations Team maintaining equipment utilized for aerospace applications.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

In addition you will :

+ Basic understanding of safety regulations

+ Compliance with LOTO

+ Conduct PM's on equipment such as Welders, Benders, CNC Machines, Mills, Lathe's, HVAC, etc.

+ Operate material handling equipment such as fork or scissor lifts

+ Intermediate computer skills

+ Repairs and maintains mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment, following technical specifications using hand tools, power tools, or precision measuring instruments

+ Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, per specifications and plumbing codes

+ Studies building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations

+ Intermediate knowledge of electrical work in compliance with NFPA70

+ Ability to install or repair electrical service

+ Ability to repair mechanical equipment such as Benders, Presses, Vacuum and HT Furnaces, Automated equipment, etc.

+ Ability to repair electronic equipment which includes, but is not limited to, CNC machining centers, CNC lasers, vacuum furnaces and wire electro-discharge machines (EDM) following blueprints and manufacturer’s specifications and using hand tools and test instruments

+ Enters information into computer to copy program from one electronic component to another or to draw, modify or store schematics, applying knowledge of software package used

+ Investigates root cause of variety of equipment problems, develops repair procedures and implements repair

+ Tests efficiency of heating and air-conditioning equipment

+ Observes and records readings if instruments such as thermometers, thermo couples, air flowmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, and pressure and draft gauges

+ Studies building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations

+ Orders and tracks material required for repairs

+ Ability to work with little direction or supervision **Qualifications/Requirements:**

+ High school diploma / General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience

+ Five to Seven years of prior experience in various maintenance disciplines

+ Prior team experience **ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :**

+ Ability to use standard shop measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

+ Ability / prior experience reading technical manuals / materials

+ Ability to work OT as needed

+ Must be available for emergency on call list **Desired Characteristics:**
