Summary
Instrumental in the creative vision, experience, and tone of the CTG Brand. Manages, develops, and monitors internal design standards consistent with the CTG Brand. Responsible for all print and digital creative assets from concept through execution. Manage CTG’s Brand, design and create artwork for internal and external marketing initiatives that connects with the targeted customer to achieve the desired business objectives while maintaining a consistent brand image and continually meeting or exceeding quality standards. Creatively pushes new and exciting design ideas forward through the provision of graphic design support and direction. Works closely with all levels of management, internal clients, and external creative partners.
Responsibilities
Ensure the appearance, integrity, and consistency of the CTG Brand across the company and enforcing the uniformity of CTG’s Brand standards
Collaborate with the Managing Director and Manager of Marketing to develop overall creative brand requirements that achieve the business goals to maximize sales potential
Oversee the entire creative process from concept to completion
Develop and execute clear, concise, and appealing visuals that support marketing activities and initiatives and which are consistent with the brand standards of the company
Elevate the overall quality of creative output of the CTG Marketing function while maximizing brand awareness
Utilize knowledge of current marketing trends to add value to the department
Provide quality control over concepts and projects, including editing marketing copy during design process
Maintain a familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in graphic design and brand management
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Duties
Assist in the creation of uniform brand standards, communication of standards, and ensure that brand communications across the organization are consistent with the company and brand positioning
Review each design or document for completeness and brand standards while seeking ways to improve overall appearance
Design campaigns, in collaboration with other Marketing team members, that increase the brand awareness and stature of CTG
Leverage customer insight, as available, to refine brand strategy
Analyze complex information and renders that information in a understandable and graphic format
Provide creative direction for internal and external events
Provide creative execution for all programs, projects, and campaigns (e.g., packaging, displays, presentations, collateral, Digital, web, videos, social media, corporate responsibility and charitable giving programs, advertising, proposals, newsletters, etc.) in order to artistically translate the company’s Brand into creative and persuasive communications to customers
Storyboard or translate ideas to graphic designs and develop innovative infographics, memes, and motion graphic solutions
Serve as a design resource for internal clients needing design and graphic support
Manage external support resources for reoccurring graphic support projects such as presentation support
Serve as liaison to extern design firms and resources; manage the work product with these partners
Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Communication, Marketing, Design, Graphic Arts, or related field or equivalent creative design and brand management experience required
Minimum 8 years’ experience in business graphics design and production, including desktop publishing, and graphic productions; brand management experience preferred
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite with ability to execute high-level creative concepts
Competence in full Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Competence in creative thinking with experience brainstorming, managing, and implementing marketing, digital, and social media programs
Strong working knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, and typography
Strong working knowledge of design, brand development and management, and creative process
Exceptional written and communication skills; ability to write concise, engaging, and informative copy
Competence in print and digital mediums
Experience with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Flash
Working knowledge of video editing , HTML, DHTML CSS, Actionscript, and Drupal
Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented, and very strong project management, multitasking and organizational ability; must thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
Proven ability to work as a member of a collaborative team and to work with others’ ideas, while bringing new ones forward
Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote work environment (if applicable)
