Tomorrow is Pi Day, π Day...March 14...3.14. Yes my friends, it's my fellow math nerds' High Holy Day, Pi Approximation Day, or Pi Day for short. And it's a super, duper special one because it only occurs every 1,000 years, the most digits of pi, 3.141592653 will happen that day, 3/14/15 at 9:26:53 a.m./p.m.
So of course, it's time to celebrate all things pi(e)! Today, the boy's school hosted a Pi(e) Day where there was lots of pie to share! My very talented friend Amy's Cakery created these amazing cookies and another talented mom created a pie cake...yes, a pie baked into a cake times three! She is my new hero...
Lots and lots of pie for lots of eager middle schoolers!
