So for today's Fiesta Friday, I was supposed to share my friend's awesome Minecraft party for her 9 year old, but as you can see from my sporadic posting...I've been off my game a little. With all Halloween stuff, work, school and oh yeah, all the sweet holiday postings I'm working on (Thanksgiving and Christmas shoots, giveaways, baking with Lucky Leaf) just for you all, ironically my blog gets neglected until all that is ready to post.  I will get on that party for next week.

In the meantime, if you live in the Seattle area, west elm is hosting a couple of events to put on your calendar. She Who Is Trophy Cupcakes, Jennifer Shea (in the gold dress) has written a fabulous party book Trophy Cupcakes and Parties!

If you follow me on Instagram (which you should), a few weeks ago, I shared photos of the book launch party. Side bar...great scott, how tiny are they compared to me? I'm 5'11 and dwarf everyone I meet! And I look hideously uncomfortable because I'm squatting and scrunching down to be in the shot.  If I didn't, all you would see is boobs.

One day...I'll share all the party photos in a post.  One of the many highlights of my evening was the cotton candy swirled around mini cupcakes.  I know! They stuck a beautiful vintage fork into a mini cupcake and swirled cotton candy around it!

Anyhow, I digress...Jennifer has been on a whirlwind book tour and she is back in our area, heading to west elm.  She Who Is  Hank & Hunt, the fabulous Jenny Batt, creator of the book's party crafts will be on hand at this event and is having her own west elm crafting holiday event.  Head over to my Today's Mama post for the event details on both.
