Hiiii!  Welcome back for Day 2 of the Papertrey August Countdown!  Today, I get the privilege of helping to introduce you to Betsy Veldman's newest quilty set.....Quilted: Autumn!  Plus, of course I've got some more peeks at my newest sets for you too!  Let's jump right in, shall we?

First things first, I got on a bit of a roll with a particular color combo, when using Quilted: Autumn, and ended up making a trio of cards using the same set and the same colors!  SO much fun....and it makes it kind of easy because you already have the colors out....you just keep creating with them!

All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on August 15 at 10pm EST.

When I first saw Quilted: Autumn, I fell in love with that little floral spray and couldn't wait to create some background paper using those stamps.  There are four stamps used, to create this cluster so I started with the main maple leaf image and built around that, repeating the cluster again and again to fill up the card stock.  On the outside edges of the leaves, I sponged on an additional color of ink, to create even more color variation on the cluster.  (ink color links below)

The sentiment is one from the new Keep It Simple: Home stamp set.

On the inside of the card, I used one of the new Tucked In: New Home sentiments as well as a couple more images from Quilted: Autumn.

Next up, I used the Quilted: Autumn dies and stamps to create the quilt block.  When stamping the maple leaf pieces, I used the same sponging technique -- ink the stamp with one color and then sponge on an additional color at one end of the stamp.  In the spaces around the leaf, are pieces of tropical teal bitty dot paper.  I topped the quilt block with a die cut floral spray.

Peeking out from the quilt block is a die cut (Fabulous Frames) with a sentiment from Quilted: Autumn and I used the woodgrain impression plate on the card base.

For this card, I created a quilty background by die cutting the Quilted: Autumn quilt block from white card stock several times and then backed the squares with various pattern pack papers.

The sentiment is two more stamps from Quilted: Autumn as are the little die cut leaves and acorn.

One more using Quilted: Autumn.....that little floral spray is definitely a favorite!  I die cut it from aqua mist card stock and stamped it with the various images from the set, this time, using various green and turquoise inks.

I added a strip of the new Autumn Chicken Scratch patterned paper, as well as a Scripted die cut and stamped sentiment.

Next up, I used my new Fall Florals set in conjunction with Lizzie Jones' new Scribbled Sentiments set, to create this little birthday card.

I sponged some Tim Holtz ink on the white card stock panel and then stamped the "make a wish" from Scribbled Sentiments, before adding a strip with the "happy birthday" from Birthday Basics.

The leaves/stem from Fall Florals were stamped with ripe avocado ink, and were topped with some hawaiian shores die cuts that were stamped with tropical teal/new leaf inks using the solid pom pom images from Fall Florals and they were topped with some sequins from Michael's.

For this card, I stamped the largest leaf cluster from Fall Florals twice, with versamark ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

Then, I stamped the flowers with berry sorbet ink and topped it with a single layered sentiment die cut, from Fall Florals.

Lastly before I go, here's another peek at Enclosed: Leaf.  A really fun thing about these leaves, is that they make excellent gift toppers!  Use them for guys or girls....the choice is yours!  I did a variety of techniques on these again, just like I showed you yesterday.

I watercolored some watercolor card stock with my Zig markers and then after it was dry, I die cut it with the solid Enclosed: Leaf die.  Then, I stamped it with two sentiment components from Enclosed: Leaf, with versamark ink, and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.  I added a white frame die cut layer, using the Enclosed: Leaf "grateful" die.

For the leaf on the right, I did some more ink blending (see links below) and then stamped and heat embossed some clear veins using more Enclosed: Leaf stamps!  I LOVE how these look in real life!!  So much detail!

All right, I'm off for now, but for today, you'll want to be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Betsy Veldman, Melissa Phillips, & Amy Sheffer for lots more sneak peeks.  Heather Nichols and Lizzie Jones will have peeks at their new sets as well.
