DJG Takes a More Interactive Approach for Two New Society of Women Engineers Websites

Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.— May 14, 2008— David James Group, an Oakbrook Terrace-based integrated marketing communications firm, recently launched two new websites for The Society of Women Engineers (SWE). DJG successfully implemented the strategic, creative, and technical development of the redesigned SWE main website and their new K-12 outreach site. Both sites are part of overall branding initiatives.

"We are very pleased with the websites. They are attractive and intuitive, offering visitors an enhanced user experience,” David Laurenzo, DJG President says. “This is a great representation of how we leverage our interactive capabilities to help our clients reach their communications goals."

The redesigned swe.org features the information and resources that members rely on and serves as a hub for the Society’s constituents and visitors. New features include a blog, RSS feeds and the new online member community My SWE Communities. The new SWE K-12 outreach site, swe.org/aspire, is an informative and interactive site for parents, educators, engineering professionals, and girls in grades K-12 interested in engineering. The outreach site has a cool look and fun feel, including an interesting side-to-side, Flash-based navigation. All elements help convey the exciting nature of engineering.

"'DJG’s work on our websites far exceeded our expectations. We’re confident that these two great marketing tools will help us empower women to succeed in engineering," says Betty Shanahan, executive director and CEO.
