While I love network marketing, I still have a huge passion for internet marketing. Hey, it is where I got my start and name online…

So, what I want to do here is share with you a few of my favorite traffic driving tactics and strategies that have helped myself, and my friends online, build a successful work at home business.

Building QUALIFIED Traffic Online.

Driving qualified traffic online is the one thing most network marketers have massive issues with. This one factor for success, is the reason most people actually fail in MLM.

No traffic or leads, no business. Duh.



The cold market.

Network marketing for the most part, has no real marketing strategies that work. Most companies today have so many rules for web based lead generation that it almost ties your hands behind your back.

Whether or not this is about keeping the playing field leveled is still an idea that I believe is both weak and, dumb.

Top this off with the “old school” mentality of marketing which is hopeless at best today, some do allow for spamming on sites like Facebook, Google Plus and Pinterest.

Yes, I said spamming. Listen, here is something you should know about bringing old school techniques of marketing to the world wide web:

Your family and friends are the coldest market you have, even on Facebook.

See, in today’s information based economy online, your hottest leads and traffic are only a keyword phrase away from action!

However, this so-called training with all it’s call to not spam is so inept, that spam is a natural equation for poor marketing training and practice.

So, instead of worrying about rules for network marketing online, or wondering how to effectively build traffic here, let’s look at the right way to market online with these 5 solid strategies.

1. Blogging.

Yes, you can write, even if you think you can’t right now. And, better yet, you can blog.

Did you know that 77% of the 2.6 billion people online today read and scan several blog posts a day? It’s true, and you are missing out on that much potential traffic right now.

Blogging is one of the most important aspects of building a successful network marketing business from home and online today.

Oh, I know, your network marketing opportunity say’s you can’t directly or indirectly talk about the company or it’s products. Good, that opens you up to much, much more.

Some people get themselves pigeonholed by too narrow of a focus, but not you and I. We think outside the box and create value through taking on a whole niche idea or topic matter.

Blogging, if you have not figured out that you do not need to talk about your opportunity and products and still drive traffic online, well, you do now.

2. Video Marketing.

Added to a blog post or, stand alone, a video in today’s mobile friendly world is as important as blogging.

Did you know that even 6 years ago when I got my start online, Youtube had a consistent viewership of about 950 million views a month?

Today, that same channel 6 years later has over 3 billion views a DAY!

Through channels like Youtube, Vimeo and Dailymotion, you have the chance to let your opportunity shine, you have a chance to personally connect then, convince and convert those who will.

Video can also be used to run webinars that help to build trust and authority. Here you can use such platforms as Google Plus Hangouts to build your reputation as the go-to voice in your part of the work at home world online.

3. Email Marketing.

They say nearly 86% of the conversion rate into new customers or partnerships happens via email. I believe those statistics.

Via the personal inbox I believe we have the best chance to share our valuable content. The kind of content that brands your message to what is most unique…you and, your subscriber.

And while most so-called “internet network marketers” get caught up in lead generation software, guru systems and so on, you and I are simply setting ourselves in from of our traffic in a very personable way, on a highly personal platform.

Talk about powerful.

4. Social Media Marketing.

I know, this is the most popular way for network marketers to hit up friends and family, and friends and family of others.

This one platform has also been so overused and abused, that many companies today get banned from marketing on platforms like Youtube, Facebook and so on.



Make a difference, by being different.

I personally see and hear of opportunities getting banned every month or so.

And, as much as I hate to say this, it’s true; “it is not just the fault of the members themselves that are guilty of poor marketing habits. because those habits are taught by the company.”

Internet marketing training within these companies is either under too strict of policies, practices are outdated or, they do not exist at all. No matter which one, this means failure for you.

Instead, share your message. Share your life and all it’s experiences you wish to share. Personalize and engage with people. Instead of selling, try educating people!

5. You, Yes, YOU!

In today’s “perceived” fast paced world of the internet, which it is not in reality, we have this belief that less YOU means more selly-sell jargon.

People want and scream out for something real today! Even when it comes to partnering with an opportunity or business model like network marketing.

Seeing big names is nice. Watching slide show presentations has it’s place too. But at the end of the day, don’t let others be YOUR voice, be your own unique voice!

Through your videos, the memes and images you share, videos, podcasts and whatever, let your marketing share your story, not just that of the companies.

We are all tired of empowering networks, lead pro systems and the rest of the traffic driving hype. We want and crave real expectations, and we want to know how you did it, without selling us your mastermind group!

The problem with network marketing is not compensation plans, poor products or, even the company leadership, most of these are wonderful.

The real problem with network marketing, is the “marketing”. Most people lack the knowledge on how to effectively build, brand and manage their traffic driving presence online.
