The Doctor and Donna Return – Big Finish – Doctor Who – The Tenth Doctor Adventures
Big Finish, creators of fully dramatised audio productions have confirmed today that David Tennant & Catherine Tate are to return as the Doctor and Donna for a new set of Doctor Who audio adventures.
This is the first time the pair have reunited on the TARDIS since their heartbreaking farewell in the Series 4 finale “Journey’s End.”
Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Adventures will be released in May 2016 and comprises three thrilling full cast audio adventures.
The series opens with Doctor Who – The Tenth Doctor Adventures: Technophobia by Matt Fitton, which is set in a London slightly in the future, where mankind is gradually losing its ability to use everyday technology. Could there be an evil force at work?
In Doctor Who – The Tenth Doctor Adventures: Time Reaver by Jenny T Colgan the Doctor and Donna arrive on Calibris – ‘An entirely mechanical planet. Catch, hitch, fuel, fix, buy, pretty much any kind of transportation in existence.’ It’s also a world full of scoundrels, where a deadly black market has opened up in a device known only as the Time Reaver.

Finally, in Doctor Who – The Tenth Doctor Adventures: Death and the Queen by James Goss, Donna is swept along in a fairytale romance and meets the man of her dreams in the beautiful land of Goritania. What can possibly go wrong? And why has the Doctor never heard of Goritania?
David and Catherine are joined by Niky Wardley, Rachael Stirling, Chook Sibtain, Rory Keenan, Jot Stevens, Alex Lowe, Sabrina Bartley, Terry Molloy, John Banks, Dan Starkey, Blake Ritson, Alice Krige, Beth Chalmers, and Alan Cox, over the three adventures.

Big Finish Productions is a production company and publisher that produces CDs, downloads and books.
They are perhaps best known for their Doctor Who ranges of plays (with its various spin-offs) but they also produce a wide range of audio drama featuring characters from Sherlock Holmes, Blake’s 7, Dark Shadows, 2000 AD (Judge Dredd and Strontium Dog), Terrahawks, The Avengers, The Prisoner, Survivors, The Omega Factor and more.
The chairman of the company and co-executive producer is Jason Haigh-Ellery who has said that the company name comes from the title of an episode of Steven Moffat’s much loved children’s TV programme Press Gang, entitled ‘The Big Finish’.
Nicholas Briggs is co-executive producer with Jason, responsible for the whole of Big Finish’s output, and David Richardson is line producer on all ranges. Ian Atkins is the producers’ assistant and also works across the company’s titles and ranges. David serves as producers on a number of Big Finish ranges.
