The Quakers suffered their second away defeat in a row at the weekend, as we lost 2-0 at Telford United. Peter Jameson was sent off, in conceding a penalty as the hosts scored twice in the second half to win the game.

Top of the table AFC Fylde kept clear of the rest, as they demolished Boston United, by an incredible 9-2 scoreline. Jay Rollins scored twice for Boston including the opening goal of the game, however, Fylde were able to run riot with help from league top scorer Danny Rowe.  Rowe added another four goals to his tally, with Brendon Daniels also scoring two. Andy Bond, James Hardy and Josh Langley scored the other goals for Fylde who remain four points clear at the top.

Chorley have moved ahead of Darlington after a 4-1 win at home to Gloucester City.  Jake Cottrell and Marus Carver put Chorley in control, before Luke Hopper pulled one back for Gloucester. However, goals in the last ten minutes from Alex Samizadeh and Jason Walker sealed the win for Chorley.

Tamworth are fourth with at least one game in hand on the top three after a 2-1 win over Stalybridge Celtic. Scott Spencer had given Celtic the lead, only for two goals in two minutes from Dan Newton and Greg Mills to turn the game around for Tamworth.

Kidderminster Harriers are fifth after a comfortable 3-0 win over Gainsborough Trinity.  Arthur Gnahoua, Elton Ngwatala and Tyrell Waite scored the goals for Harriers who are only three points behind Darlington with a game in hand.

Halifax Town are sixth after falling to a 4-2 defeat at Curzon Ashton. Niall Cummins and Adam Morgan put the hosts two up, Cliff Moyo pulled one back for Halifax, but Morgan restored Curzon’s two goal lead. Joe Guest sealed the win, despite a late own goal keeping Halifax in the game. Curzon amazingly won the game despite finishing the match with only eight players after three sending’s off.

Salford City are also just outside the playoff’s after a 3-0 win over Worcester City.  Nick Haughton, Mike Phenix and Scott Burton scored the goals for the hosts at Moor Lane.

Brackley Town are level on points with Halifax and Salford after a 2-1 victory over a free falling Harrogate Town. Simon Ainge gave the visitors the lead, before David Moyo levelled for the hosts.  It looked as though Harrogate were going to hold on for a point, but Matty Lowe won the game in the final minute for Brackley.

Stockport County lost 2-1 at home to a Bradford Park Avenue side who have turned their season around in recent weeks. Kayode Odejayl had given County the lead, but Emile Sinclair and James Knowles won the game for Park Avenue.

Bradford PA are now level on points with fourth bottom Nuneaton Town, after Tommy Wright’s side lost 3-0 at FC United. Kieran Glynn, Jerome Wright and Luke Ashworth helped FC United to ease to victory.

Bottom of the table Altrincham twice led, but were unable to hold on as they lost 3-2 at Alfreton. Greg Wilkinson and Jake Moult had both given Altrincham the lead, but two goals from Andy Monkhouse twice levelled late on, with Liam Hearn scoring the dramatic stoppage winner for Alfreton.
