The teaser trailer, featurette and photos are out from “American Horror Story” and “American Crime Story” producer Ryan Murphy’s next TV anthology series – “Feud”.

Susan Sarandon stars as Bette Davis and Jessica Lange is Joan Crawford in the film which explores intense rivalry between Davis and Crawford that began during their heydays in the 1930s & 40s. By the 1960s when both were in their 50s and considered ‘washed up,’ they agreed to star in the 1962 horror film “Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?”.

Davis was the greater actress, Crawford the more glamorous star and both had little love for each other, Davis said of Crawford once: “She slept with every male costar at MGM except Lassie.” Davis was nominated for an Oscar for ‘Jane’ and Crawford actively campaigned against her.

The series also stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as Olivia de Havilland, Alfred Molina as director Robert Aldrich, Judy Davis as Hedda Hopper, Kathy Bates as Joan Blondell and Sarah Paulson as Geraldine Page.

“Feud: Bette and Joan” begins March 5th on FX.
