Walking down Newtown Lane in East Hampton or Jobs Lane in Southampton has its appeal, but the beach is the real showstopper. Whether you choose the calm bay or the pristine oceanfront, the East End of Long Island won’t disappoint.
The Dan’s Papers Hamptons Beach Guide 2016 helps you navigate the many parking and beach regulations each town and village enforces. Don’t let a ticket ruin your beach fun! Make sure that parking sticker is visible (and your registration/inspection hasn’t expired!) before you hotfoot it to the water.
When in doubt, contact the town or village, and heed the posted signs. Be safe and have fun!
