Vielleicht beginne ich erst mal damit zu erklären, was denn ein SUB überhaupt ist. Nicht jeder ist in der Welt der Bücher unterwegs und mit dem gängigen Slang vertraut. Beim ersten Mal stand ich auch da und kam ins grübeln, bin ich versucht habe durch den Kontext darauf zu kommen.
SUB = Stapel ungelesener Bücher
Ich würde geringfügig untertreiben, wenn ich behaupten würde, dass das alles wäre. Ich habe nämlich ein ganz schön volles Billy als Gegenbeweis. Allerdings werde ich wohl nie nur einen kleinen Stapel haben, so dass ich mir immer einige Titel aus dem Regal hole, auf der Kommode platziere und dann nach und nach lesen. Ist einer davon komplett gelesen, stelle ich mir den nächsten zusammen. Klingt doch spontan nach einer guten Strategie oder? Daher habe ich mir gedacht, dass ich euch einfach meinen aktuellen Stapel zeige, welchen ich mir zusammengestellt habe. Sollte euch dann ein Titel davon besonders interessieren, dann lasst es mich wissen. Mein Monatsrückblick wäre doch eine gute Plattform immer meine gelesenen Titel aus dem vergangenen Monat zu zeigen. Oder würdet ihr einen eigenen Post bevorzugen? Lasst es mich wissen.
Was ich versuche ist, immer eine Mischung aus Hardcover und Paperback Ausgaben zusammen zu stellen. Ebenfalls mag ich nicht mehr als zwei Titel gleichzeitig lesen. Im Regelfall auch nur Eines. Allerdings kann es auch mal sein, dass mich ein Titel nicht so fesselt, so dass ich mich dann ja irgendwie (vor allem beim einem umfangreichen Hardcover) sehr lange damit aufhalten würde. So kann ein anderer Titel abwechselnd jeden zweiten Tag das ganze etwas erleichtern. Ebenfalls habe ich eine Schwäche für Fantasy und Thriller. Ab und an verirrt sich dann auch mal ein Frauenschmöker dazwischen zur Auflockerung

Momentan habe ich mir Mindy Kaling – Is everybody hanging out without me? (and other concerns) zum Lesen geschnappt, da ich den Titel schon so oft woanders gesehen habe und lange im meinem Warenkorb hatte. Vor ein paar Wochen dann endlich bestellt. Ich habe ihr Serie noch nicht gesehen, werde es bei Gelegenheit bestimmt mal machen.
