Texture Contemporary Ballet is looking for dancers for their upcoming performance of Interfusion. This Pittsburgh based contemporary company performs a wide variety of original repertoire, requiring dancers to be highly trained in both ballet and contemporary dance.
Rehearsals begin June 6th in Pittsburgh. Tech rehearsal week begins July 18th with performances running July 21st through the 24th. There are four shows in total with an additional children’s performance. Pay is a minimum of $500 for rehearsals and shows, but usually increases with fundraising and ticket sales. Housing will not be provided, however transportation and living arrangements can be made with help from current company members.

Position Description & Qualifications:
The Collective, Baltimore’s hub for professional dancers and choreographers, seeks male and female dance artists for the 2016-2017 performance season. Candidates must have strong roots in modern dance technique and be willing to work in a collaborative environment. Preference is given to candidates who can demonstrate and express their artistic potential. Seeking dancers with varying perspectives and experiences. Full-time member and apprenticeship positions are available.
The Collective holds bi-weekly dance classes year round and generally performs once per month. Additionally, company members have opportunities to present their own work, participate in community-based projects, and collaborate with other artists/arts organizations.
Rehearsals and Start Date:
Rehearsals are Tuesdays (6:30PM-9:30PM) and Sundays (10AM-2:30PM) at The Bryn Mawr School. Dancers cast for the 2016-2017 performance season will work with the co-directors of The Collective to set a start date in June/July 2016.
Salary:
The Collective offers performance stipends. Company members also receive 2 complementary classes per week.

North Shore Civic Ballet Holding Auditions for Dancers

James Sewell Ballet (JSB) is looking for experienced male and female dancers for their 2016/2017 season. JSB consists of 10 dancers, 5 male and 5 female, who are willing to challenge their physical limits and play with the boundaries of ballet. Dancers must have a strong ballet technique and a facility for contemporary movement – Improvisational skills are a plus.

Ballet Fantastique Contemporary Chamber Company in Eugene, Oregon is auditioning female dancers for soloist, corps, and apprentice positions. Disney Theatrical Productions announces a multi-city open casting call across North America for its current and future productions of the award-winning musicals Aladdin and The Lion King.
