Avant Chamber Ballet Company Audition for 2016-2017 Season
Feb 21st 230-430pm at Park Cities Dance, 7979 Inwood Rd, Dallas TX.
Registration starts at 2pm. Cost is $25. Please bring resume, head shot and full-body dance photo. Women will need pointe shoes. Dancers must be 18 or older.
Avant Chamber Ballet seeks classically trained men and women for the 2016-2017 season in Dallas TX. ACB repertoire includes classical to contemporary works with a contract from late Aug to May. Dancers are paid per production based on experience and women are provided pointe shoes.

Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures
We are currently accepting CV’s for our auditions on the weekend of 2/3 April 2016.
New Adventures auditionees require at least 3 years’ dance training at a recognised Dance College (Contemporary, Classical or Musical Theatre). Individuality and a love of performance are essential.
Please send a hard copy of your CV along with a portrait photograph and a covering letter to the address below by Friday 11 March 2016. Auditions will be held at a Central London location and are by invitation only. Dancers invited to audition will be informed by Friday 18 March. Due to the high-volume of applications we recieve if you have not heard from us by 18 March you should assume we are unable to see you this year.
All applications must include a covering letter detailing why you would like to work for New Adventures. Batch applications from agents must include these letters from dancers. Your covering letter, CV, and photograph/s should be sent in an A4 envelope. No staples or paper clips please. Applications can not be returned.

Oregon Ballet Theatre will be holding auditions in San Francisco on January 16th, 2016. This audition is by invitation only – interested dancers should send audition materials (see below) to Tracey Sartorio (tracey.sartorio@obt.org).
Dancers will be notified by email if they have been invited to attend and where the audition will take place. Registration is 2:30 and the audition is 3:00-5:30, including an abbreviated class.

HIRING: Female Company Dancers + Academy Teachers for 2016
Ballet Fantastique Contemporary Chamber Company in Eugene, Oregon is auditioning female dancers for soloist, corps, and apprentice positions. Contract includes two contemporary ballet productions for remainder of the 2015-2016 season, plus touring as scheduled. Benefits include shoe allowance, physical therapy and massage. The Contracts also include additional opportunities for paid outreach and teaching work for experienced candidates.
Though this should not discourage your application—especially for dancers with the other qualities we’re seeking—we are ideally hiring dancers between 5’2″ and 5’6″.
Additional skills of interest (desired but not requisite): Choreography, arts education, arts administration, other dance vocabularies (contemporary, modern, jazz, lyrical, pas de deux, and/or hip-hop).

Northern Ballet company auditions
Male and Female Dancers
We are looking for male and female dancers. You should be open-minded, creative and imaginative with strong classical technique and pointe work, exceptional partnering skills and strength.
Closed audition, by invitation only, will be held in Leeds on Sunday 14 February 2016.
Please submit a full CV (which must include height, weight, date of birth and nationality), recent full-length classical dance photos and DVD of centre class work in leotard/tights (ladies on pointe), showing long combinations both sides of adage, pirouettes, small and large jumps and a travelling combination (no costumes please) to: Matt Lawn, Northern Ballet, Leeds LS2 7PA by Monday 18 January 2016.

DISNEY THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS ANNOUNCES NORTH AMERICAN OPEN CASTING CALL FOR ALADDIN AND THE LION KING
Disney Theatrical Productions announces a multi-city open casting call across North America for its current and future productions of the award-winning musicals Aladdin and The Lion King. Casting representatives from both productions will hold open auditions for local singers, dancers, actors and children (for The Lion King only) in Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Toronto, Washington, D.C., Orlando, Miami, Dallas and New Orleans. Both productions are seeking actors, singers who move well and dancers to be in the ensemble and to cover or replace lead roles.
Performers of all cultural backgrounds are strongly encouraged to attend.
