Cumulus-Dallas is seeking a Local Sales Manager to lead our team and continue driving our revenue growth on KILF News 570 News and Information, our dynamic News Station, and WBAP 820AM/96.7 FM, our Heritage News/Talk station celebrating our 90th Anniversary. Cumulus provides our teams with great products to sell, superior training tools and a sales management system that supports business development and rewards performance. Our successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales and sales management success along with these qualities:
Documented training expertise and the ability to embrace and execute the Cumulus CSOS sales system
Strong recruiter of new sales talent
Maintain a constant focus and priority on new business development
Manage inventory effectively
Demonstrate the importance of utilizing our sales assets, including: spec spots, custom proposals and qualitative research
Maintain systems of accountability to insure outstanding rep performance
Be a effective communicator
Provide creative sales promotions and client focused partnerships for continued revenue growth
Be able to forecast and project revenue accurately
Background in News/Talk preferred but not mandatory
Proficiency in digital sales and the need to include interactive in all proposals
Possess an undergraduate degree
