The Director, Packaging Procurement will be responsible for procuring all packaging materials including bottles, jugs, lids, cups, closures, bags, corrugated, cartons, labels, and film. Annual Packaging spend is approximately $100MM.
Role Responsibilities:
·Create a world-class purchasing team to develop collaborative sourcing strategies across the corporation that deliver productivity, mitigate risk, improve lead-times, enhance service levels, improve supplier quality, and reduce working capital.
·Lead various corporate-wide and operations-specific initiatives as required.
·Implement and drive process consistency and cross-business collaborative purchasing strategies that result in supplier consolidation and consolidated leveraging opportunities across the company.
·Monitor all major supply agreements for negotiating strategy, legal implications, cost and supply implications.
·Develop Procurement policies and procedures that outline best practice guidelines and promote the highest professional and ethical standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
·Bachelors degree required
·10-12 years deep generalist procurement experience
·Diverse industry experience; Food and Beverage experience a plus
·Highly motivated with the ability to multi-task and provide timely feedback on all projects to all stakeholders
·Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP skills/experience preferred
·Excellent organizational, analytical and communication/interpersonal skills
·Team orientation
·Strong negotiation skills
