What is a soul mate? Richard Bach has a beautiful definition: “Our soulmate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When we’re two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are we’ve found the right person.” I, personally, don’t believe that all soul mates are in romantic relationships. I believe that we can have a true love connection in friends, family members, teachers, and co-workers. I also don’t believe that every marriage is between soulmates; though each has that potential if both parties are willing to dig deep (it can happen).
