Addie Carlene Johns, 62, of Copperas Cove, Texas, passed away Jan. 8, 2014. She was born in Bertram, Texas, on Aug. 13, 1951, the daughter of Henry Calvin Wright and Lela Beatrice Simpkins.
Carlene enjoyed gardening, painting, fishing, dancing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Johns Sr. of Copperas Cove; sons Ray Johns Jr. and wife Sharon and Shane Johns and wife Lisa, all of Burnet, and Carl Clay Wright of Leander; sister, LeAnn Moore of Leander; and grandchildren, Brandon Burton, Aaron and Taylor Johns and Zachary and Zoe Johns.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service is 11 a.m. Jan. 11 at Hopewell Cemetery in Liberty Hill.
