Men’s Basketball: The Amherst College men’s basketball team rallied from a 17-point deficit to defeat Bowdoin 92-78 on Friday night at Morrell Gymnasium. The eighth-ranked Purple & White remain unbeaten in conference play and improve to 14-2 (4-0 NESCAC). Bowdoin falls to 8-6 (1-3 NESCAC) this season.

Women’s Basketball: Cold shooting hampered the Bowdoin College women’s basketball team in a 78-48 setback at the hands of Amherst on Friday evening. Second-ranked Amherst remains unbeaten at 17-0 (4-0 NESCAC) while the Polar Bears fall to 12-5 (2-2 NESCAC).

Men’s Ice Hockey: Cody Todesco scored early in the second period, while Peter Cronin blanked the Williams offense, leading the Bowdoin men’s ice hockey team to a 1-0 Friday night win over the visiting Ephs. Williams (10-4-1, 6-2-1 NESCAC) entered Friday’s conference game as the top seed in NESCAC play. The Polar Bears collected their second win of the season over a nationally ranked opponent to improve to 6-7-3 (3-5-3 NESCAC) on the year.

Women’s Ice Hockey: The Bowdoin women’s ice hockey team fell 2-0 to Middlebury on Friday evening. The Panthers (8-3-3, 4-0-3 NESCAC) collect their second straight home shutout. The Polar Bears drop to 6-7-1 and 3-4-0 in NESCAC play.
