Harmon will let you use a 20 percent off Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons (even expired ones) along with a manufacturers coupon . The 20 percent coupon comes off first for greater savings. I have scored many good deals using this strategy.

I’m a late bloomer — I just discovered Kohl’s! Not only do they have great sales, you can always find extra savings at retailmenot.com and then get $10 Kohl’s Cash back on purchases of $50 or more! I bought some clothes and a new comforter online — I figure that with the discounts and rebates, I think I paid $20 for the comforter set! BARGAIN!

I have wanted the orange set of Rachael Ray pots for years but could not afford them. In May, Walmart marked them down from $199 to $99. I still couldn’t part with $100 even though the pots are well worth it. My husband and I were waiting in the check out line when an associate brought a box, the last box, of the orange set up to a shelf right next to us and stamped it with a shocking $49! I heard bells ringing!!! I walked out of there a happy woman; I got a $200 set of pots for $50! I learned that sometimes it REALLY pays to just wait it out a bit.
Kimberly McBride
I bought a brand new, with the tags still on it, London Fog, lined and hooded trench coat at Goodwill for $5. Original price tag read $189.99

Not long ago I was in a JC Penney store, and the spring fashions were already in place. I walked down a center aisle and saw a long, red wood dress coat. I took a peek at the size — mine— and price— $19. I decided I didn’t need another coat, so I went home where I thought about the $19 price tag and the $10 coupon I had. I immediately went back to the store and paid $10 and change for the beautiful coat. The clerk said a man bought it for his wife for Valentine’s Day and returned it because it didn’t fit. When I got home, the price tag said $220! Not a bad deal!

Back-to-school shopping has begun and I got an awesome deal on Crayola crayons! It was a one day only sale at Toys R Us: 3 boxes of 24 for only $1. Limit two offers per customer, so I got 6 boxes for only $2!!!
Adelina Rosa, Matter of Cents
Clearance at Macy’s — snagged a Ralph Lauren dress for under $50, then used my 20 percent off coupon!

A couple of weeks ago I scored on clothes for my kids and a jacket for me at JC Penney all on clearance and used a 20 percent off coupon as well! For example: my jacket was originally $76 and I paid only $4. For a pair of kids Levi’s originally $44, I paid $2.39!!! One very happy mama!

I love shopping at Macy’s. There are always super super bargains to be had. This summer I bought a Christmas shirt that was priced $50 for $3.
Carol Cannon Queen
I coupon so everything is a great score for me most of the time. My best was 300 items at $922, but I only paid $86 before taxes!
Cassie Boling
I scored free paper towels with a $2 on any 2 coupon when they were on sale at Smith’s for $1 per single roll. I love getting free stuff!
Tiffany Davis
I bought a TV at Sears for $97 and they gave me $91 back in points to spend!
Jennifer Victor
I got a turquoise necklace at Macy’s for 1 penny.
Alison McFadden
I combined clearance sales at JC Penney and Kohl’s with percent-off coupons I received from being on their mailing lists/credit card member. A few years back I found amazing clearance deals at Children’s Place Outlet by combining coupons, too — we ended up getting about 20 shirts/sweaters for about $20-30. I also found deals at Old Navy by combining clearance/sale prices with Old Navy bucks I earned from the store credit card. We ended up getting about $40 of stuff for under $5! (The associate said she’d never seen such a low end price!) The best deal we ever found was my daughter’s First Communion dress the year before she needed it, on clearance at Penney’s — a $75 dress and we paid $10 for it … and BOTH my girls have worn it and received many compliments on it! What a deal!

Using mycokerewards.com, I got a $50 Nike gift card. I used that to purchase my son a new hoodie for $49 at nike.com with free shipping. Making the purchase through ebates.com, I received a rebate! I GOT PAID to make that purchase!
