Jatiya Party Chairman and Prime Minister’s special envoy Hussain Mohammad Ershad Wednesday said his party would field candidates in 300 seats in Jatiya Sangsad elections in 2019. Speaking at a view exchange meeting with the leaders and workers of Borguna district JP he said “Jatiya party believes in politics of ballots, not in politics of destruction and arson.”
Jatiya Party general secretary Zaiuddin Ahmed Bablu, presidium member MA Hannan Shah, Golam Kibria Tipu, Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan, Shunil Shubho Roy, Borguna district convener Shahjahan Monsur were present in the meeting. Ershad said people of the country want to see Jatiya Party in the state power, so time has come to organize the party for next general election. Later, conference preparatory committee of Jatiya Party for Borguna district unit was formed with Jafrul Hasan Farhad as convener.
