The first half of the year 2014 has seen many movies that has done wonders at the Tollywood Box Office. Many stars who are badly in a need of a hit, they got one in 2014 and continuing their acting career smoothly. To cite as an example for this, Boyapati Srinu directed Balakrishna’s “Legend” is enough. This year started with a bang with Ram Charan’s blockbuster hit “Yevadu”. This magic continued with the following movies like “Legend”, Allu Arjun’s Race Gurram” and many others in the list.
Now that half of the year has completed, we have to see what does the latter part of 2014 gives us as a surprise. Thus far no big movie has hit the screens but it is exciting to learn that many big movies are lined up to the screens, much to the delight of the fans. For every month at least a big movie is queued to hit the screens. Here is the list of those five movies to hit the screens in five months, have a look :
Rabhasa :
“Rabhasa”, the much awaited movie of this year from Young Tiger NTR. This year he has no release and this will be the sole release in 2014 from him. The previous movie “Ramayya Vasthayya” remained as a disaster for NTR and hence this movie has turned out to be prestigious for NTR. While his contemporaries like Ram Charan, Allu Arjun are making their marks at the Box Office Collections, NTR has to proove his stamina with this movie. This movie which is touted as the action cum family entertainer is being directed by Santhosh Srinivas and has Samantha & Pranitha in the female lead roles. This movie is expected to hit the theaters in the latter part of August.
Power :
Mass Raja Ravi Teja is coming up to the audience with the movie “Power” in the debutante director Bobby. After some flop movies, previous movie of Ravi Teja “Balupu” saw a hit and this movie is also expected to be the same. A teaser of this movie has been launched on the eve of his birthday which got huge response from his fans. This movie has Hansika in the female lead role and this movie is expected to have a theatrical release in the early part of September.
Aagadu :
Mahesh Babu starrer “Aagadu” is the movie that has got all the rights to be called as the most awaited movie of this year. With “1-Nenokkadine” in the direction of Sukumar is being a flop, fans of Mahesh Babu has pinned many hopes on this movie. This movie has Tamannah in the female lead which is being directed by Srinu Vaitla. This combination is expected to recreate the magic of “Dookudu”. The teaser which was launched has got some tremendous reception from the audience. This movie is expected to hit the screens before the Dussera holidays, in September last week.
Govindhudu Andari Vadele :
After “Yevadu” which was a blockbuster movie, Ram Charan is coming with this movie and that too with fist of its kind movie in the career of his. For the first time he is acting in a family entertainer in the direction of Krishna Vamsi. This movie is expected to hit the screens during or after the festival of Dussera.
Gollabama :
Mega Brother Nagababu son Varun Tej is making his debut as an actor with the movie “Gollabama” (which is still a working title). This movie is being directed by Srikanth Addala who earlier produced a blockbuster multi-starer family entertainer “SVSC”. This movie is expected to wrap up the shooting in the month of September and planning to hit the screens during the Hindu festival Diwali.
