Avram Grant
The Ghana Football Association has ordered Black Stars coach Avram Grant to return to the country after re-locating to the United Kingdom.
Grant has been away for two months and his recent appearance on Sky Sports as a pundit has irritated some local commentators.
The Israeli trainer has been away enough though the Ghana Premier League is in session.
Moreover he has less than three weeks to prepare for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations double qualifiers against Mozambique.
“Let me state as a matter of fact that the Ghana FA has asked him to come down because the league is underway,” Ghana FA spokesperson Ibrahim Sannie-Daara told Joy Sports.
“We are also getting close to our match against Mozambique and therefore we need him here and in a very due course he will be here.
“We are very much in touch with him, we control what he does and we would want to state that if he does anything that is untoward we will call him to book.”
Grant promised to monitor the Ghana Premier League to unearth talents for the senior national team.
