Did you know that hyenas will eat almost anything? They are truly opportunistic diners and generally go for the easiest catch. Hyenas have very powerful jaws and a strong digestive tract that allow them to even eat bones!
The only parts that hyenas cannot digest are fur, hooves, and horns. They cough this stuff up like owls cough up pellets! Because hyenas hunt at night and devour every part of their prey, they leave almost no evidence of their meals.
