Zombie TV Premiere Details: “Zombie TV is the splatter-ific new zom / com / omnibus from the fertile and twisted mind of acclaimed cult filmmaker and special effects makeup genius Yoshihiro Nishimura (Tokyo Gore Police, Helldriver, The ABCs of Death).
A Monty Python-esque collection of shorts, animation, sketch comedy, instructional videos and more, Zombie TV showcases the natural evolution of zombies in the 21st century, no longer a frightening menace, but rather an annoying neighbor you realize you simply have to put up with. Zombie TV answers such natural questions as: in a world full of the undead, wouldn’t some of the surviving humans want to join the majority and become zombies themselves? Would becoming a zombie solve the emotional and relationship problems we all have as living, breathing human beings? Do zombies have their own idols? Would zombies worship a zombie god? Who would win in a fight: a cannibal, or a zombie? How did zombies evolve from walkers into runners? And the most burning question of all: how do zombies have sex?
Nishimura has created ZOMBIE TV with the assistance of a new pair of filmmakers he’s excited to introduce to the world: award-winning splatter short film director Naoya Tashiro, and artist / animator Maelie Makuno. Bringing very different tastes and styles to their episodes, the trio have created a fun, fast-moving film that captures the feeling of flipping through late-night TV in a world gone mad. Structured to entertain without tiring out its audience, Zombie TV provides food for thought—if that food were human guts and brains. Sure to delight zombie fans old and new, Zombie TV offers a new- found appreciation for our walking dead friends.
Zombie TV held its World Premiere at Monsterfest in Melbourne, Australia on Monday, November 24th at 4:30pm local time, and will screen at film festivals across the world in early 2014.”

Slaughter Daughter Release Details: “Brain Damage films is set to unleash Slaughter Daughter on DVD and VOD in North America on February 4, 2014, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The heartwarming tale of a psychotic daughter who teams up with a jailed murderer to slay her mother on her wedding day, Slaughter Daughter will be coming to all major and minor Cable/Satellite VOD operators as well as major internet platforms including iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, Vudu, Xbox Video and more. The DVD will feature a load of bonus content fans won’t want to miss; Availability info to be announced.
Slaughter Daughter is the brainchild of Director Travis Campbell and Writer/Producer Lauren Miller. Campbell and Miller also partnered up on their previous feature, Mr. Bricks: A Heavy Metal Murder Musical. After Mr. Bricks was completed, they begin brainstorming a new idea about a matricidal young woman named Farrah. They immediately thought of Nicola Fiore, one of the stars of Mr. Bricks, to play the lead. Italian Giallo films of the 1970s, soap operas, and true crime novels all became the inspirations behind Slaughter Daughter.
In January of 2011, the team began to build an online presence for the film and shot the first of what would become a weekly web series lasting 8 episodes. The series focused in on Farrah’s stint in a mental hospital and aired on YouTube. From there, the team pulled up their socks and climbed the uphill battle of making independent film. Fueled by inspiration and determination, they completed the project and gave birth to something truly inspired.”

Comic Series, Z’Isle, Release Details: “Bike-forged weapons & roof-bound communities have kept people safe. But for how long?
One of our first projects is called Z’Isle. A comic set in Montreal 7 years after a zombie infestation. Z’Isle follows the lives of various characters from different corners of the city and explore how they’ve balanced morality with survival, some with the hope of rebuilding Montreal to its former glory. We also plan to dodge many of the clichéd tropes of the zombie genre and go beyond the expected.
Z’Isle is also distinctly Montreal and unlike any other zombie story out there. Here are a few reasons why:
Most stories deal with trying to get away from the problem. Our story is set 7 years after the zombie apocalypse and shows how people have built their lives around the problem of a zombie infestation. Bullets have run out a long time ago. As Montreal is a city of bikes all weapons are made from bike parts.
Societies have been built around zombies. Therefore there is a new generation who to them, zombies are normal. This give us a lot to play with in terms of conflicting world views, especially with those who lived in The ‘Old World’.
Fans actively participate in expanding the world of Z’Isle.
This leads to our Indiegogo campaign where fans can actively contribute to the world by adding their own stories through being a character in the comic. The goal of our Indiegogo campaign is to create the first 6 issues, which make Volume one of a trilogy.”
