Having 2 laptops, 2 cell phones, 1 tablet, and more, our family has made internet security a top priority. I was asked to be one of several parent bloggers to test out the brand new ESET Smart Security 6. I was happy to do a blog review (we were each given a copy of the ESET Smart Security for us to review and share with our readers). Since Macs usually don’t have viruses, I opted to download ESET onto my PC laptop. The installation process was quick and simple (only had to push buttons saying Install, Download, Continue, and Finish -those are definitely my kind of instructions)!
In the past, I have taken take risks on my Sony Viao laptop and didn’t install any anti-virus or security software. Within a few months, my laptop was completely ruined with dozens of Trojan viruses which effected the speed of my computer, my ability to even turn it off using the “Shut Down” button, and it kept crashing on me. It was so frustrating having a computer with viruses…I’m sure many of you can relate. I really learned a painful lesson and vowed to never let this mistake happen again on my next laptop.
After installing the software for a week, everything is functioning smoothly and efficiently. We can now sleep at peace knowing our computer will be safe from viruses and most importantly, our daughter will not be able to download anything that will ruin our computer. We will be keeping you updating with more blog posts to give you updates on how we are finding the ESET Smart Security. Safe baby = happy parents!
