Action Against Hunger (ACF) is an international non-profit organization. ACF is looking for qualified and dynamic professionals to fulfill the following positions to be based in Badin District (Sindh)
Ref l: Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) Officer (Positions 15) – Female Only
Responsibilities: Position is responsible for providing tailored infant and Young Child feeding advice to pregnant women and the caretakers of children less than 24 months age, via diagnostic assessment and follow ups. The IYCF Officer will give practical, one to one counseling sessions on breastfeeding practices, complementary food, and re- lactation support where necessary along with the community sessions on IYCF.
Requirements: Minimum Bachelor degree or Diploma in nursing with 1 year experience in CMAM and IYCF, Good level of spoken and written Sindhi and local languages, Excellent behavior change communication and counseling skills, Excellent skills in organizing work flow, capacity to follow protocols and take own initiative. Ability to work in an environment where there are physical discomforts associated with change in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust or dirt.
Ref 2 : Community Mobilization Officer (Position 13)-Male Only
Responsibilities: Plan, organize and manage all of the activities related to the Community mobilization, including serving as the contact Person to the Community and village leaders. Area mapping through PRA tool. This position will support the Community Nutrition Volunteers.
Requirements: Bachelor degree. Health Promotion or relevant qualification with at least 2 to 3 years experience in management of Community nutrition programs. Training certification in Community mobilization would be an asset. Local candidates from the Shaheed Fazil Rahu and Badin Talukas will be preferred.
Ref 3 : Nutrition Measurer (Position 12)-Female Only
Responsibilities: Conduct quality anthropometric measures at the OTP/SFP sites on the referral beneficiaries following the initial screening exercise while ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
Requirements: A minimum of a Intermediate, previous experience of anthropometric measurement skills in advantageous, filing and ability to work in a Windows based computer environment filing are desired traits
