Many people ask this question about opening a Paypal account from Nigeria but the bitter
truth is that, Paypal does not accept all countries in the world, it operates
with only a few countries but Nigeria
is excluded. That does not mean that a Nigerian can not create and verify a Paypal account from Nigeria
off course its possible but risky because you can easily loss your money in a
blink of an eye. That is if Paypal ever discovers that you log in your
account from any country it does not operate with, then you will lose your account
with the money in it forfeited. But don’t you worry yourself, I will show you how to create a Paypal account, verify it and maintain it properly here in Nigeria.
First
of all what the heck is Paypal all about that everybody wants to own? Well for
those who don’t know, Paypal is an online currency bank or online payment
processor that you can use to send and receive money. If you have a product or
services to sell online, you can use a Paypal account to accept payment. Again you can
also use your money to buy any product or services online. Paypal is like Liberty Reserve, Money Bookers etc. If you verify your Paypal account with your bank details, you can also withdraw your money to
your bank account. Only for accepted countries not Nigeria,
you can not withdraw your money to your bank here in Nigeria but there is a way. Keep
reading.
So How to open a Paypal Account Here in Nigeria
Opening a Paypal account is free, it cost you nothing all
you have to do is go to www.paypal.com but
before you do so, you will need to change your IP address because Paypal
does not accept an IP address from Nigeria.
You will have to use a country that Paypal accept, find an IP address and other
details required from the country and use it. You can choose from a list of the
following countries China, Malaysia, UAE, Cyprus
or India.
These countries are not necessary required to verify their Paypal with a bank account, a credit card will suffice. Please

Now that you have got an IP address of your choice go to your browser and change your IP address. Please do not use any proxy site, read this post How to change IP address in Browser settings, it is very safe. In case you are contemplating which country to choose from, i urge you to choose an IP address from China.
Confirm your changed IP address here www.ip2location.com,
then head over to www.paypal.com to register for a free account, choose premier as the type
of account opening and continue, click on get started as shown below.
fill in the required details, you can use your
real name, use your desired email address and password for your account,
when it comes to address, search for any address in the country you have chosen
via google.com and use the address you have gotten to fill the form. Just type
your country yellow page eg china yellow page and copy any address that suits
you. Make sure the Address is in this format
Address: Suite 401, Treasure Center, 42 Hung To Road, Kwung Tong, Kowloon.
City/Province: Hong Kong
Country: China
Postal Code: 200001
Phone No. +852-25660211
The zip code will be the postal code number in the address. The chosen country is
your country of citizenship, fill every other part of the form and click
signup. Before you signup, you will be ask to insert your Credit Card Number. You can skip it anyway or add the number if you have it. You don't know where to get a credit card? keep reading. Meanwhile, you will receive a confirmation link in your email, go to your email
and click to confirm your registration.
Verifying your Paypal Account and Cashing your Funds
In the verifying process, you will need a $10 Liberty Reserve money that will buy you a Credit Card to use to verify your Paypal account, here we will be using a VCC
virtual credit card to do the verification. Go to www.virtual-cc.com
you will see three different cards on the page as shown below, You will need $10 in your Liberty Reserve account to buy one of this card. if you don't have a Liberty reserve account go get one for yourself.
Click on the Paypal Virtual CC in the center, on the next page choose $9.99 and add 1 as the quantity you want,
include your email address and click on proceed. On the next page at the top
right side click on checkout $9.99 button to make payment with Liberty reserve.
The card details will be sent to your email within 30 minutes to one hour, you
will have to use this card within 24 hours so remember to check your email for the card details frequently. After receiving the credit card details, go back to your Paypal account and
log in.
You will have to add the VCC to your PayPal account as any normal credit card. So click on the “link and
confirm my debit or credit card” to add the visa virtual credit card and get verified. Enter the VCC information that was sent to your email address and click Save
Now you will have to link and confirm the VCC.
Point your mouse to Profile to show the sub-menu and click Add/Edit Credit Card
Click Link and Confirm My Card
Click Save and Continue.
After adding your card to your Paypal account, you will receive notification immediately that "your 4-digit code is been requested". Now go back to virtual-cc.com and at the top, you will find
'Paypal code request' link, click on it, enter your card
number and email address and click on send request then you will see some thing
like this picture below.
Go to your inbox and check for the requested 4-digit code. you will receive a credit card statement that will look like this PP*XXXXCODE (e.g. PP*1234CODE). the XXXX is the four digit number you need for the final
verification process. you will need to add the 4 digit code to
verify your Paypal account. Log back in to your PayPal account and click Get Verified. Enter only the 4-digit code from your credit card statement. After
you've successfully verified your card, the small charge made to
generate the 4-digit code will be reimbursed to your PayPal account
within 24 hours.
Now that you have verify your account successfully, you can
send and receive payment. But you can’t withdraw your money anyway because you are operating your account illegally. As at the
time of writing this post, there are no successful ways to withdraw your funds
from Paypal account here in Nigeria. All you have to do with your money is to buy any product or
pay for services online. You can buy on fiver, amazon, or Clickbank etc
Maintaining your Paypal Account after Verification
Now that you have a verified Paypal account, you can use it without limit but you will have to be very careful not to be noticed.
Just follow these tips below to be on a safer side.
1. Do not use any proxy to open your account, just use your regular internet
connection with the IP address you use to open your account when login.
2. Always clear your
cookies before you open your account and avoid checking your paypal account all the time.
3. Only pay or receive money to and from
people you trust because you might limit your account if you deal with a
scammer.
4. Don’t you dare open a claim, if you do so Paypal staff will have to check your
account personally and they might limit your account and ask for additional
identity for verification.
5. From other people's experience, after you have verify your account, try
not to receive/send money for at least 48 hours. Just leave the account as it is.
6. Avoid unnecessary numbers of charge back or refunds.
7. Avoid opening new or multiple accounts with the same IP address.
9. Do not receive large amount of money after verifying your account.
10. Do not frequently change your account information or unnecessary adding and removing of credit cards in your account.
Other tips will be updated shortly, but for now you can use this method to open a Paypal account and verify it from Nigeria for free. Do not pay for a Paypal account again. But note that i do not guarantee that your account will be safe using this method, but at least this is best alternative to use so far.
So How will i Withdraw my Paypal Money
As of the time of writing this post, you can not withdraw your Paypal money to your bank account in Nigeria just forget about withdrawing your Paypal money for now. But know that, you money is not stocked in there, you can still utilize it using this methods below.
1. Shop online: you can buy any product or pay for services online with your Paypal funds. you can even buy from Amazon and Ship it to Nigeria here.
2. You can also sell your Paypal funds to people you trust and they will pay you via other means. Either via other payment processor like liberty reserve, money bookers or bank wire transfer and moneygram.
