Ayios Theodoros cottage – The perfect and most popular traditional dating back more than 100 years at the Ayios Theodoros Cottage is breathtaking. The house consist of four separate bedrooms, each with en-suite. There is a separately sitting and dining room with fire place. There are two studios upstairs and two studios downstairs. One of the upstairs studio has 2 single beds, air-conditioning and woodstove for cold winter days. One studio downstairs has a double bed, woodstove and air-conditioning. Opposite the Ayios Theodoros Cottage is the 12th Century Byzantine chapel of Saint Theodoros.

Agrotiko

Just outside Kallepeia village is the Agrotiko, a traditional stone built complex consisting of 3 two-bedroom apartments and 2 one-bedroom apartments. The Agrotiko is a typical prototype of a traditional Cypriot house with a large yard, swimming pool, stone built oven and traditional fittings, yet offering all modern comforts, ideal for families and large groups. Its independent position and panoramic view to the vineyards give it quite a distinct feel preferred by many. “Androniki ” is a traditional 3 bedroom private house located at the very historical centre of the Episkopi village, at the foot of one’s of Cyprus most well known cliffs. Over 100 years old and still maintains its beautiful village traditional splendour. Completely remodelled with all the modern comforts. A perfect place for summer and winter vacations, it strongly appeals to those seeking a vacation setting to share with family or group of friends. “Androniki House» has two separate kitchen areas and dinning tables. European Long Distance Path E4 – Tsada-Paphos Airport – Length: 24km, time required: about 8-11 hours.

The final section of the E4 path in Paphos descends from the village of Tsada, alongside the nearby golf course, through wild gullies, towards the valley of Morounero, follows the valley and reaches the village of Episkopi (alt. 200 m.). Look out for the vertical rock formation in the area. The route then follows the natural course of the river and ends up at the coast, by Paphos international airport. It follows along the coast to reach airport, where the European Long Distance Path E4 ends (or starts).

Archontiko tou Meletiou

(Panayia, Paphos)

Meletios’ mansion (Archontiko tou Meletiou), next to Makarios III Museum in the beautiful village of Panayia, is a complex of buildings only recently renovated for the Agrotourism programme.

All apartments command a view of the large stone-paved courtyard with its traditional earthenware jars.

Meletios’ mansion, built more than 200 years ago, consists of one two-bedroom and two one-bedroom houses as well as a studio with its own fireplace. The balcony on the top floor bears a commanding view of the valley.

Chloe’s House

(Pano Akourdalia, Paphos)

Quietly located in Pano Arkoudalia village of Paphos, Chloe’s House offers self-catering accommodation opening out to a patio with lush greenery and mountain views. Poli Chrysochous Town is 12 km away.

All units at Chloe’s are simply decorated with warm-coloured wood furnishings. Each features a well-equipped kitchen with stove, fridge and electric kettle. A seating area and TV with DVD player are also available. A fireplace is found is some units, along with iron, four-poster beds.

Dino’s House – To Spiti tou Dinou

Dino’s House at Trachypedoula was originally built on 1840 and has now been converted, into three studios and one common sitting-room, for agrotourism. It is a traditional stone-building with two yards. All places are traditionally decorated and well furnished for a comfortable accommodation. The three studios and the sitting room are equipped with LCD TV, personal air conditioner and under-floor electric heater. The TV (52’’) in the sitting room is connected to a satellite receiver and there is a DVD player as well. Internet services can be provided. Dino’s House is at an altitude of 530m with an extreme view towards: Troodos, Aeolic Park, Diarizos river, the sea and a number of villages on the surrounding mountains. Distance in km to some interesting sites : Site for climbing 3, Monasteries 3-4, Natura 2000 3-20, Sea at Birth place of Aphrodite 24.

We can provide three bicycles for daily rental basis. Visit Aphrodite baths, walk in one of the many nature trails and Akamas peninsula which has magnificent views all year round. Go to the beach in Polis which is only 5 minutes drive from the village. Visit the wineries in Kathikas village and have a taste of the traditional Cyprus food in one of the many taverns in the village.

Karydhia Cottage

Karydhia Cottage, a beautiful stone-built residence, is 150 years old. Its large courtyard full of trees, including a massive walnut tree, is particularly impressive.

The house consists of 3 bedrooms, a large living-room combined with a kitchen, fully furnished and equipped, with an extraordinary large fireplace.

Close to the centre of the village is Kostaris, a stone built complex of three individual traditional houses, a two-storey house and bungalow, sharing a common yard and garden, with its traditional oven, wine-press and a small swimming pool to refresh yourselves in the heat of the summer. The houses were restored with traditional methods and their fittings remind us of the true Cypriot character of old houses. The view from Kostaris is panoramic and if you manage to let yourself free, you will immediately feel rejuvenated.

Upon entering through the large entrance door, you receive your first warm welcome at Loxandra’s House, (To Spiti tis Loxandras) as you discover the untold beauty of the stone-paved courtyard and the unique play of light and shadows.

Moving to the inside through the large arch, you come into the living room with its fireplace, while the entire building consists of three one-bedroom apartments and one studio.

On the upper floor the balcony offers a magnificent view to the sea of Akamas. Letting your eyes roam the horizon you will feel a unique sense of exultation, a feeling of joy you will carry within you a long time after you leave Loxandra’s House.

Michalis’ Anoyia

Michalis’ Anoyia is a remarkable building, about 70 years old, situated in the heart of Kathikas village. The “Anoyia” was renovated without in any way altering its traditional character. Only modern comforts were added.

The house consists of two one-bedroom apartments, each with private bathroom, kitchenette and fireplace. Every apartment can accommodate up to four persons and has its private internal staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom (anoy).

From the upper floor you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Paphos forests and Troodos mountains. The house’s main features are the traditional arches, straw covered ceilings and stone-built barbecue place, where you can enjoy the local village wine. The “Anoyia” is an ideal starting point for your exploration tour of the Akamas peninsula with its nature trails and cycling paths. The beautiful sandy beach of Coral Bay is only 7kms away.

A traditional and historical stone-built residence bearing the family name ‘ Mouskos ‘. The house was the residence of the father of Archbishop Makarios III where he lived for the last 43 years of his life. Some pieces of the furniture used are the original ones.

The house is situated at the edge of the village very close to the Paphos Forest and has been fully restored and converted into 1 one-bedroom flat and 1 studio. Both flats have their own original fire places, a fully equipped kitchen, shower, toilet and central heating. They enjoy a large stone paved veranda and a courtyard with mature trees. A stone built oven as well as the traditional ‘linos’ where the grapes were foot-pressed for their juice are still in working order.

Olga’s Cottage is a detached stone house, restored in its original traditional character. Built more than 200 years ago, the house is located in a beautiful country setting surrounded by nature and birdsong. The house contains a comfortably furnished living-room, a large modern kitchen complete with washing machine and modern appliances, a tiled modern bathroom, two bedrooms plus a studio bedroom. The house sleeps up to six persons comfortably and is designed to accommodate a family or group of close friends.

The private courtyard includes a large patio shaded by a large olive tree, plus a lawn and flower garden. At one end of the house there is a traditional village oven and a grape press. Over the low walls of the courtyard there is a fantastic view of the Chryssochou valley.

Palati of Xylari

In the heart of Panayia village lies a magnificent, stone built complex, the Palati (Palace) of Xylari, consisting of four apartments, one of which is a miniature of a Mycenaean palace built some 250 years ago, using stone from the mountains of Panayia.

The most impressive and at the same time traditional room is the hearth, a sitting room area with traditional decor.

The other three apartments date back to the end of the previous century and they also preserve, in their entirety, their traditional character. From the two balconies of the complex, you can listen to the sounds of the boundless mountains, and in the courtyard you will spend many beautiful and relaxing afternoons.

Pinou’s House

Pinou’s house is a beautiful two storey , stone-built, traditional house. Over a 100 years old, the house is situated in the quiet and picturesque village of Goudi near Polis Chrysochous, in Paphos, Cyprus . The house was recently restored and renovated for the purpose of agro tourism. Apart from a large, walled courtyard with a swimming pool, the house has an enticing panoramic view of the Chrysochou valley. Relaxing by the private swimming pool, you can enjoy the peace and the tranquillity of the surroundings. In the early morning it is ideal to go walking along the stream that passes close to the village. Here you can enjoy nature to the fullest whilst watch different indigenous birds or just walking through the orange groves.

The house consists of 3 fully air-conditioned bedrooms (with cooling/ heating). There are two double bedrooms, one on the ground floor and another on the first floor . The master bedroom on the first floor has a balcony with beautiful views (two teak chaise-lounge and side table provided). The third bedroom on the first floor with a bunk bed has a traditional wooden balcony overlooking the huge courtyard with the swimming pool. The stone-built House of Rigena (To Spiti tis Rigenas), is found in the picturesque village of Houlou. The House is a perfect example of traditional popular architecture dating back more than 140 years, recently renovated to join the Agrotourism scheme.

Upon entering the House you come across the large stone-paved courtyard blooming with flowers, an old spring and the traditional Cypriot arch.

The property is located in the centre of Drousia village on the boundaries of the Akamas peninsula.

Originally built in 1912 the restoration task took many years of meticulous work to bring the property back to its own former glory using either the original materials or similar still found in the area.

The whole project was under the strict supervision of the Cyprus authorities, which ensured restoration of every detail to their satisfaction.

Throughout its history, the property has offered hospitality to a great number of visiting VIP’S of the time.

The house was also the centre of the social life of the village.

Stelios’ House (To Spiti tou Steliou) is a beautiful stone-built house in Panayia near Makarios III Museum dating back to 1850.

The house consists of a sitting room area – the makrinari – with dominating element the big stone-built fireplace and a bedroom on the top floor with a balcony commanding a view of the village and the surrounding mountains.

The stone-paved courtyard with the large traditional earthenware jars is beautiful and the climbing vine creates plenty of shade for the hot days of summer.
