Having a burger in any shape or form has become a hot trend in recent years. Of course, everything is judged based on details, such as minced meat, spices, sauces, and side items. The philosophy behind this new entry is that a burger should be made just right (“opos prepi”). This translates to high quality Irish Black Angus beef, freshly cut Cypriot potatoes fried in healthy oil just like mom would make it, always with seasonal and fresh ingredients. At this stylish burger joint, things are simple and to-the-point, just like the menu. There are five different kinds: the classic “straight” burger, the cheeseburger, “The Boss” with cheddar cheese and crispy smoked bacon, the “Full Monty” with cheddar cheese, crispy smoked bacon and a fried egg. For these four burgers, you can choose beef size or you can have chicken. The fifth burger is the “Veggie Baji” which is an original recipe on Naan bread, based on the traditional Indian dish onion baji. An important aspect of a successful burger is the bread. In this case, the owners have their own bread recipe which they take to a bakery for custom made buns, exactly how they want them. As for the sauces, chili, BBQ, and avocado, they are all made on site along with the onion relish. Of course, you will have a beer with your burger, so it is worth trying the Italian brews from an award-winning brewery in Parma. You may also have homemade lemonade, fresh orange juice, and homemade iced tea. Open Monday through Sunday from 11am to 11pm.
