Tomorrow six diverse artists from six different countries and cultures will be showcasing their work at the Lellos Art Point in Limassol under the name Blossom: Art, Mind & Soul.

The exhibition, which will bring these six individuals together to unify their creativity, bind their experiences and bring forth a unified front, is sheltered under the main name Blossom, because just as each branch of a blossom tree is different, so is each artist.

Each branch is diverse but together they create a beautiful sight, just like the art created by artists Sirpa Hovi, Martha Elisabeth Landa, Marina Polycarpou Yiassoumi, Kiara Timm, Christine Steinberg Mund and Angela Egwim.

As author Ola Joseph once said, “Diversity is not about how we differ. Diversity is about embracing one another’s uniqueness.” This quote hits straight to the heart of what the exhibition is all about. It is not just an opportunity for six artists to present their work to the world, it is a chance for us to understand that if we share our differences, we will find out that something special can begin to blossom, and we can all gain from it.

The exhibition is only an opening to a series of events that the gallery will be hosting under the Blossom 2015 title.

On Tuesday there will be a tea presentation and tasting, during which you will get the chance to get to know different types of teas and find the one that works and relaxes you. On Wednesday you can get to know all about herbs and essential oils for wellbeing. There will also be a workshop where you can make your own herbal wreath, using fresh herbs and natural decorations.

The last event of the series will be a presentation by Angela Egwim on Bach flowers and how they help us feel great.
