truTV has one more question for you.  For a chance to win a prize, you’ll have to participate in this week’s:

truTV. All New Line-Up. WAY MORE FUN.

FUN OF YOUR BUSINESS

Last week we asked our readers to tell us, What was your funniest Thanksgiving snafu?

Here is what your colleagues had to say…

My father dropped a dish of baked ziti across the table. - Jamie Umans, Partner, Communications Planning Director, MediaCom

I left the bag of giblets inside the turkey and cooked it. - Tressa Adams, Associate Director, Strategy, OMD

Falling asleep (hungover) while reading to my youngest sister in her room and missing dinner. - Megan Curran, Associate Media Director,  MEDIA STORM, LLC

My college friends and I decided to stay on campus one year instead of flying home, and cook the huge meal ourselves. Essentially we all ended up on our phones with our parents, scrambling. Dinner was not served until 1:00AM since we underestimated the turkey and everything else had gotten cold. - Arturo Villalobos, Account Executive, Liberman Broadcasting Inc.

Two years ago I offered to make candied bacon as a fun treat for a friend’s Thanksgiving. After over-broiling, I had to use a large knife to try to get it off the pan, which resulted in my stabbing myself in the thumb and a Thanksgiving trip to the ER. Fortunately the doctor was really cute! - Bear Fisher, SVP Marketing & Brand Strategy Domestic Television Distribution/Television & New Media Distribution, NBCUniversal, Inc.

I tried those silicone oven mitts and a new turkey fork, picker-upper thing and when I tried to turn the turkey over (somehow my sister-in-law convinced me that starting the turkey breast down and turning it over halfway makes it juicier)…well, the mitts were too slippery and I dropped it. My two dogs and my sister-in-law’s lab lunged at it, got a bite and ran. We rinsed it off and put it back in the oven. It was delicious! - Annie Howell, Annie Howell Communications

The next question is… What is your favorite afternoon pick-me-up snack and why?

Note: FOYB is taking a Holiday break so the responses to this question will be published in the December 2nd issue of Cynopsis.

Join in and don’t miss out on all of the fun! Send your response to next week’s question today to FOYB.Cynopsis@gmail.com.
