SPONSORSHIP & PROMOTION

IMG, through its licensing affiliate the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), locked in a partnership extension with the Sugar Bowl Committee, the Tournament of Roses, and the Heisman Trophy Trust to manage their respective trademark licensing programs. “We look forward to leveraging the new College Football Playoff, along with the Bowl’s new partnership with the SEC and Big 12 Conferences, into greater excitement and expanded retail distribution of our merchandise, and we feel CLC is the best partner to help us accomplish that,” said Jeff Hundley, the Sugar Bowl’s Chief Operating Officer.

The Dannon Company is digging the flavor of football, announcing a deal that will make the brand the Official Yogurt Sponsor of the NFL beginning in 2015. “Since our first Super Bowl advertisement in 2012, we’ve seen the potential to impact American families when it comes to making better food choices. We want to make yogurt more fun and more engaging because eating yogurt every day can help improve the quality of our diets, and sponsoring the NFL brings that to a whole new level,” said Sergio Fuster, Chief Marketing Officer, The Dannon Company.

Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. will serve as the title sponsor for the first Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race this season. The MyAFibStory.com 400 is slated to take place at Chicagoland Speedway.
