Call it Executive Stays: Discovery Networks International President JB Perrette extended his contract through June 2019. Perrette joined Discovery in 2011 as Chief Digital Officer.
After nearly 18 years, Jill Holmes, Head of West Coast Development and Production of VH1, is leaving the net’s executive ranks. Holmes will exit her post in August, however, will remain in the VH1 fold with a multi-year first-look deal.
Bryan Seabury has been named Senior Vice President, Drama Development, Broadcast and Cable Programming, CBS Television Studios. The appointment marks a return to CBS Television Studios for Seabury, after nearly seven years in drama development at CBS Entertainment, most recently as Senior Vice President, Drama Development.
Jana Steele Helman has joined Freeform as Vice President of Programming and Development. She was previously Director of Comedy Development at Warner Bros. Television.
CBS Television Studios and CBS Interactive has announced the appointment of Julie McNamara to the newly created position of Executive Vice President, Original Content, CBS All Access, the network’s digital subscription video-on-demand and live streaming service. McNamara has led drama development at CBS Television Studios for the past 10 years.
Havas Worldwide has appointed Michael Keany to the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer, Americas, effective June 27. He joins the agency from McKinsey & Company, where he served as Vice President and co-founder of McKinsey Academy.

Milojo Productions hired Michael Halpern as Manager of Development, to help manage the development of scripted, non-scripted, and digital projects at the SoHo-based production company owned by Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa. Most recently, Halpern worked in development at the production company DIGA.
Marci Wiseman and Jeremy Gold are joining Blumhouse Productions as co-presidents of Blumhouse Television. Jessica Rhoades, who built Blumhouse Television (The Normal Heart, The Jinx), will serve as EVP/head of programming & development. Wiseman was formerly a longtime executive at AMC, where she launched AMC Studios; Gold most recently was EVP of Endemol Shine Studios.
Twentieth Century Fox Television tapped music industry veteran Jeremy Summers as EVP of music, where he’ll help identify music talent and negotiate deals to hire composers and music supervisors for pilots and series. Most recently, Summers served in dual roles as GM of The Firm and president of the company’s record label, Prospect Park Records.
CNN hired Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski as a commentator.
RLTV promoted Roy Ennis to GM. Ennis formerly was SVP of finance for the network.
International Television hired Cristina Sala in the newly created position of VP of sales, Italy, Italian Speaking Switzerland and Greece at Twentieth Century Fox Television for Pay TV, Subscription Video on Demand, Basic and Free TV. Sala most recently was at Entertainment One in London for six years.
