ADVERTISING & BRANDS

Branded content is increasingly and effectively being used to combat ad skipping – and measurement is part of the arsenal. "Because today’s media environment delivers ‘constant content contact,’ consumers work to avoid intrusive traditional advertising," Gary Warech, SVP, branded entertainment & sports at comScore, tells Cynopsis. "However, they have proven willing to consume branded content at ever-increasing rates. As ad-blockers, DVR and other technologies make skipping advertisements easier, in-content brand integrations – engaging and capturing viewer’s attention are increasingly critical and can be measured for a full accounting of media value and brand impact.” For insights and case studies on the hot topic, register for the June 15 Cynopsis webinar, Winning at Producing & Selling Sponsored Content: http://www.cynopsis.com/webinar/winning-producing-selling-sponsored-content/

We wanted an agency partner that understood our brand and our audience. Vizeum is that partner because at its core it stands for ‘connections that count,’” said Angela Courtin, Chief Marketing Officer, FOX Broadcasting Corporation.

Edelman and United Entertainment Group (UEG) have announced the launch of Starling, a collaboration of DJE companies focused on global influencer and brand partnerships that are measurable and constructed for long-term engagement. “Early influencer programs were built based on advertising sponsorship models. Starling is built on the principles of earned storytelling, lasting relationships, and the rigor of data to deliver against our clients’ business objectives.” said Jess Clifton, US Managing Director, Strategic Growth and Development, Edelman.

New evidence showing the positive sales effects gained by major brands through increased TV advertising will be presented at ARF’s Audience Measurement conference on June 14.
