Facebook on May 29, 2013 introduced Verified Pages, profiles for Celebrities. saying that they are trying "to help people find the authentic accounts of celebrities
and other high-profile people and businesses on Facebook."
"Verified Pages belong to a small group of prominent public figures (celebrities, journalists, government officials, popular brands and businesses) with large audiences. This update is rolling out to profiles as well." They said In their Blog Post.
Many of the Popular Celebrities like Will Smith, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Jason Statham have already verified their account on Facebook. This will help you to finding Real celebrity profile, However if you believe that you're being impersonated you can always report a fake account.
The Blue check mark at the right of name identifying verified pages and profiles will appear in timelines, stories, search results, news feed ads and while users hover over the name of a page elsewhere on the site.
