She wanted a quarter of Romny to succeed itself with Inaria. She didn't get her way and she invaded Romny on June 9, 1925. Unlike Garcia she completely takes over Romny in days. Redosia quickly declares war on Inaria and just like Romny they are utterly defeated. Seeing the fates of Romny and Redosia the neighbor nations Ratio, Yukon, and Yuktobania set up defenses. The Yosemite line lied just before Ratio and blocked Inaria. They were expected a kind of Trench warfare. The queen orders her M1 Sherman tank battalions followed by mass infantry and fast moving P-51 Mustangs to smash right into the Yosemite line quickly overwhelming Ratian troops. The Ratians were poorly equipped, not only that but they were expected to fight an old type of warfare in a new world. Ratio is taken over two weeks later with intense fighting. The capital city Sacramento became under imperial occupation on June 23, 1925. Yuktobania sets up for the incoming Imperial forces by setting up defenses with its T-34 main battle tanks, Yak 9 aircraft, and infantry. Mokrovia was the next target. With four nations already within Queen Esmeralda Hernandez's hands there was nothing stopping her. She attacks the Republic of Mokrovia on September 6, 1926. Fighting lasted for five years in Mokrovia alone. She referred to Mokrovia as a stubborn, weak democracy. But the people fought on. As the queen got frustrated her casualties ranged from 50,000 Inarians dead to 2,000 Mokrovians dead. She retreated her forces from Mokrovia and attacked the Union of Yuktobanian Republics. Mokrovia lost an alarming amount of infrastructure in which devestated their economy. Yuktobania played the defense, While nations from the east such as The Republic of Carlton, Kingdom of Sapin, The Antarian Union, and the Osean Federation became involved. The war lasted for another four years and the tide of battle turned against Inaria by 1935. Osean troops liberated Romny, Redosia then finally Ratio while other allied nations liberated Crozakia with intense fighting for months. The allies pushed on creating an eastern front while Osean troops opened up a southern front. Yuktobania, taking immense losses but motivated troops opened up the northern front. The Inarian empire was quickly overwhelmed and was utterly defeated at the battle of Gracemeria on February 2, 1936. The queen was killed in a fire fight involving Carlton, Terran, Temecian, Sapinese, Mokrovian, Osean, Antarian, Yukon, Yuktobanian and Usean troops in Gracemeria. The great war was over with more than 1,000,000 total soldier casualties and 300,000 civilian casualties.
