In just two years, the Uptown development transformed a stretch of tired businesses and craggy parking lots into a bustling mix of new housing, shops, restaurants and galleries in Cleveland’s University Circle.
Learn how that unique project came together in a panel discussion featuring Uptown stakeholders Friday, Oct. 9, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Cleveland (11400 Euclid Ave.). Steven Litt, art and architecture critic for The Plain Dealer/cleveland.com, will moderate the discussion, which is free and open to the public.
Panelists will delve into the innovative public-private collaboration that created the popular residential, arts and entertainment district and celebrate its distinction as a Silver Medalist for the 2015 Rudy Bruner Award for Urban Excellence.
