On Sunday 20th November 2016 the first look of the movie was launched in Mumbai. The show was hosted by Karan Johar. Huge LCD screens were placed to set the tone of mega launch. Superstar Rajinikanth entered the launch event in his white Porsche wearing a white kurta and the Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson followed in their following cars. Salman Khan also reached the launch event even when he was not invited. He said that he came there to see a glimpse of living legend Rajinikanth when he got to know about this launch event without any invitation. Salman Khan shared the stage with the Team of Robot 2.0.
