If there’s service available in your city you will soon get a message from the company regarding the availability of the Reliance SIM.

How to get a free Jio SIM card through My Jio app?
One needs to go to the Google Play Store for downloading the MyJio app on your 4G smartphone. After installing the app, tap on the ‘Get Jio SIM’ option and fill in details like name, mobile number and location to verify if the offer is available for you. This process will generate a unique code that needs be shown when getting the SIM card.
Submit the valid address proof and one passport-size photo to the closest Reliance Digital or Reliance Digital Xpress Mini store. Once accepted you will receive an SMS on your alternate mobile number to get a SIM card. The last step involves inserting the Jio SIM card in your smartphone and dialing on 1977 to activate it. That’s it now you will get jio sim in free.

After inserting your sim, just dial 1977 to activate it.
