About Azerbaijan Airlines
Azerbaijan Airlines was founded in the year 1992. The airline is the flag carrier of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Operating from its main hub at Baku-Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the airline, also known as AZAL, has flights to over 50 destinations.
Within the country, the airline operates flights to Baku, Bandja, Nakhichevan, Gabala and Lankaran. Internationally, it connects several cities in Turkey, Russia, UK, Spain, UK, Germany, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Italy, Ireland, Romania, China, South Korea, Israel, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Dubai, Taiwan, and the US.
On the AZAL website, fliers can book a flight, hotel or car. Major credit cards are accepted. If you dint know, even web check-in can be done before a flight. Further, a complete schedule and flight status can be accessed online. Both Economy and Business class cabins come with comfortable seats, in-flight entertainment, among others. As for baggage, Economy Class passengers can carry up to 1 piece of bag weighing not more than 23kg. Business Class passengers can carry two bags with 32kg each.
