1. SENIOR MECHANICAL/PIPING ENGINEER

Responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising of a major component of the mechanical and piping engineering related activities within a project.

REPORTING LINE:
Reports to the Lead Project Engineer
Directly responsible for the performance of Engineers and Designers within the project team

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensuring mechanical design criteria are met or exceeded
Ensuring specifications and regulations are adhered to if applicable
Maintenance of pipe handling & welding equipment in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
Preparation & review engineering drawings & calculations
Preparation of reports for all project scopes on a frequent basis.
Provide change control for all aspects of work.
Preparation of documentation and manage implementation FATs
Prioritize, organize and supervise day-to-day work of welders & fitters.
Participates in planning, estimating, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects
Develop Isometrics drawings for piping projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
B.Sc or B.Eng  in Mechanical Engineering
A related post graduate degree will be an advantage
Must have worked as a piping design engineer/senior piping engineer for an Engineering Design company involved in Oil and Gas projects or an Operator for 12 years.
Must be used to working in a multi-discipline environment.
A minimum of 5 years as a Lead Engineer.
Experience shall include design engineering in green and brown field projects.
Must be familiar with relevant codes, standards, oil and gas industry design specifications and practices.
Must have a thorough working knowledge of the latest design engineering, analytical techniques and software programs
10 years minimum total post graduate experience in oil and gas industry

2. MECHANICAL/PIPING ENGINEER

REPORTING LINE:
Reports to the Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities and duties will involve:
Ensuring mechanical design criteria are met or exceeded

3. PIPE FITTER

REPORTING LINE:
Reports to the Senior Mechanical Engineer through the  Mechanical Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will be responsible for laying the pipes and fitting them together before using molten metal to bond them.
Weld pipes that are used to transport oil and other fossil fuels.
Weld pipes that are used in power plants or sewer systems.
Install and verify operation of high pressure steel gas pipe and fittings, stopple, or related equipment on gas lines, and no blow service tees.
Repair and replace any damaged steel or plastic pipe.
Fabricate and install steel fittings on the water mains.
Perform all fusing of plastic pipe and fittings on high pressure gas mains, water mains & sewer mains.
Construct truck bumper brackets, truck bed trailer hitches, and cages and guards for meters, and regulator stations.
Repair backhoe diggers, buckets, and stabilizers.
Cut and thread pipe for water and gas service boxes.
Complete logs, reports, work orders, requisitions, and other records and communications as required.
Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipe lines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints.
Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications
Select pipe sizes and types and related materials, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications.
Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications.
Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints.
Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:
7 years experience in offshore Oil and Gas companies or servicing companies
Minimum of a degree/HND  in Welding or Engineering
Necessary certifications
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.

4. SENIOR ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENTATION

Prime responsibilities and duties:
Installation of EDS (Electrical Distribution Systems)
Specifying and installation of MCCs (motor control centers)
Design and installation of earthling system,
Managing junior electrical engineers.
Installation of power transformer

REQUIREMENTS:
B.Sc or B.Eng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or any related degree
Candidate must have previously worked in an oil and gas construction environment

5. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design of Electrical Power distribution system.
Design & installation of transformers and protection/control, as well as motor control, plant lighting, and grounding.
Control panel layout design& installation
Low voltage power distribution systems installation
I/O wiring
Fieldbus design
UPS design& installation
Prepare technical reports and Client correspondences/presentations
Review and prepare detailed specifications and contract documents for procurement of major electrical equipment as well as construction document packages.
Assist in the preparation of the technical portions of Procurement documents (RFQs, POs), and review equipment tenders and vendor documents
Assist in the coordination of project activities
Visits to project sites and other design offices for project related activities, i  ncluding commissioning and startup support

REQUIREMENTS:
BSc or B.Eng Electrical/Electronics Engineering

6. Senior Civil / Structural Engineer

To provide specialist expertise in the area of civil and structural engineering with respect to oil and gas facilities.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise, policies, procedures, standards and technical review capabilities in the area of civil and onshore structural engineering in relation to the design and construction of oil and gas facilities.
Lead/participate in ensuring asset integrity of the civil and onshore engineering aspects of oil and gas facilities.
Identify new technologies applicable to UIG civil and onshore structures engineering; evaluate theses both technically and commercially and where appreciable opportunities exist, progress and manage deployment in current assets and new projects.
Assist in the management and competent development of civil and onshore structures engineering discipline across UIG.
Take a delegated role of the alternate TA-1 for civil and onshore structures engineering (in support of the RDL) to ensure compliance with standards and policies within the discipline and authorise modifications where required.
Audit existing civil and onshore structures oil and gas facilities for comp-compliance with clients requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Degree qualified in a Civil / Structural Engineering
minimum 12 – 10 years experience in civil and onshore structures design and construction
Working knowledge of a broad range of Facilities and Project engineering systems, tools and practices.
Ability to manage interfaces with subsurface, well engineering and production disciplines as well as with government, regulators, and stakeholders is essential.
Offshore experience in platforms and jackets etc
Conversant with Structural Engineering software such as a STAAD
Preparation of design basis/technical specifications and piping support design.
Excellent communication skills.
HSE management of a large group of people and contractors in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team set
Ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop the technical and management skills of a large team.
COREN certification

7. CIVIL ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site
Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction
Supervise carpenters, iron benders and other construction crew to deliver projects.
Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.

REQUIREMENTS:
B.Sc or B.Eng  in Civil Engineering
COREN certified an advantage
Candidates must have previously worked in an Oil & Gas Construction Environment.
7 years minimum total post graduate experience in oil and gas industry

8. DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interface coordination with all company disciplines and client Document Controllers for the distribution of all correspondence and deliverables,
Maintain incoming and outgoing document control Logs,
Maintain Project Filing System.
Maintain and distribute Queries and Outstanding Items Lists.
Update, maintain and distribute Action Items Lists promptly.
Prompt delivery of project documents to client
Archive documents in soft copies.

REQUIREMENTS:
B.Sc or B.Eng in any related Engineering field
Candidates must have previously worked in related environment for a minimum of 5 years
Strong IT skills, must be proficient in Microsoft suites
Good understanding of scanning & document storage system
Apt skills for filing.

9. BID ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management of bid submissions through its complete cycle.
Identify resources required for a bid, plan bid activities, identify deliverables and manage resources in an efficient manner to produce winning bids within deadlines.
Liaise with different layers internally and externally to ensure that deadlines are met.
Manage the application/ renewal process for registration with industry regulating bodies.
Create and manage a bid documentation pool ensuring that all information and offerings are up to date.
Provide support and assistance to other bid team members as required.
Conduct pre-bid activities with the bid team including briefings, scope meetings, and presentations.
Act as the client contact point during the bid process which includes rising and responding to queries, presenting the bid and negotiating with the customer as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
B.Sc or B.Eng in any related Engineering field
Candidates must have previously worked in related environment for a minimum of 5 years

10. QA QC ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implementation, monitoring and maintenance of all quality control systems and management activities in project execution and management.

REQUIREMENTS:
B.Sc or B.Eng IN ANY RELATED ENGINEERING FIELD
Candidate must have previously worked in an oil & gas construction environment.
10 years minimum total post graduate experience in oil and gas industry.
Familiar with ISO 9,000 and 14,000 series standards.
Trained ISO 9,001 Quality Auditor is an advantage.
Managerial experience will be an advantage.

11. HUMAN RESOURCES PERSONNEL

RESPONSIBILITIES:
To maintain human resource policies, ensuring compliance; and to contribute to the development of corporate HR policies.
Ensure provision of a professional human resource service to the organization.

REQUIREMENTS:
B.Sc in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
Masters degree is an advantage.
7 years minimum total post graduate experience.

12. QUARRY MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES:
checking that the quarry’s production levels are maintained safely to schedule;
balancing sales and output;
altering the quarry’s production system in accordance with the materials required;
liaising with sales and commercial teams;
Performance managing the production process and setting and monitoring targets;
providing information and statistics on the quarry’s performance;
developing links with local groups and organizations;
managing and regulating the quarry’s budget;
maintaining up-to-date records and dealing with a range of paperwork;
ensuring that key government health and safety legislation (Quarries Regulations 1999 and Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Quarries) Regulations 2008) is implemented throughout the site;
keeping up to date with relevant government legislation and industry developments;
developing inspection systems and checklists
Closely monitoring all areas of the quarry to ensure that extraction and processing work is carried out to the highest standard;
liaising with staff on site and dealing with any technical or staffing challenges that arises
undertaking regular site inspections and risk assessments in order to comply with all health and safety regulations
examining the materials produced to ensure that a high quality of product is maintained
assessing equipment and production materials levels

13. QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Reports to Project Manager or Project Director and provide advice in the decision-making process throughout the management of a project from initial inception to completion.
Handles estimating and cost control, estimating and measurement of construction works prior to tender, producing the bill of quantities;
Produce tender documentation and manage the tender process; clarify and evaluate tenders; and manage the resultant contract through monthly valuations, variations control, contract administration and assessment of claims.

REQUIREMENTS:
B.Sc Quantity Survey
7 years minimum total post graduate experience.
Ability to work without supervision
Business management skill
Relevant Certifications and Professional Association Membership
Candidates must have previously worked in an oil and gas construction environment.

14. CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare profit and loss statements monthly closing and cost accounting reports.
Compile and analyse financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts and document business transactions.
Analyse and review budgets and expenditures.
Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices and other accounting documents.
Analyse revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control.
Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients. Recommend, develop and maintain financial databases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.
Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
Under the supervision of the Senior Financial Accountant, manage the production of Annual and Quarterly reports and Accounts and the associated supporting evidence and reconciliation.
Working with the Senior Financial Accountant and others to ensure the company receives a clean audit report.
Ensure that all transactions comply with appropriate VAT regulations and submitting the VAT return on behalf of the company.
Production of a statutory based set of management accounts, including balance sheet on a monthly basis to prepare monthly management accounts.
Ensure that key financial processes are properly documented and updated and reviewed regularly with a view to achieving improvements and efficiencies.
In conjunction with the Senior Financial Accountant, shall be responsible for managing and controlling the Chart of Accounts.
Produce, as required, any adhoc reports required by the Senior Financial Accountant and/or Executive Management.
Other duties as may be assigned by the Senior Financial Accountant and Executive Management.

15. HSE Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting  directly to the HSE Manager to support the day to day HSE Management and long range stewardship of the HSE department
Participating in hazard identification and risk assessment studies
Carrying out audits in accordance with the Annual Audit Program
Providing safety support during projects and special periodic surveys
Participating in incident investigations
Analysis and reporting of HSE performance data
Ensuring regular weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports are accurately compiled and sent to the HSE Manager.
Carrying out safety inductions for new personnel
Ensuring regular checks are performed on portable Firefighting, Safety and Emergency equipment by relevant service providers and ensuring equipment is sent for repair and maintenance when required
Ensuring that the corporate incident database including the transmission of First notifications are maintained
Ensuring that the routine Emergency Exercise/ drill
Following up for execution of applicable industrial hygiene program needs
Carrying out safety and environmental inspection visits to sites, including audits of job safety analysis, pre-job safety meeting, and near miss reporting and ensuring that routine and emergency response plans are maintained / updated and communicated effectively to the work force
Assisting in the promotion of HSE Awareness campaigns and safe working practices
Participating in meetings with regulatory bodies.Performing other duties and projects as requested by management

Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health or Engineering minimum of 7 years oil and gas  experience
