Our Client a leading innovative Nigerian Public Sector Enterprise within the Communication Technology Industry due to expansion seeks professional candidates with the skills,

The Role/Job Objective(s):
Plan and manage activities and projects that support web services
Directs solutions to functional and technical problems
Research, select, implement and maintain Web-Based Applications integrated witha variety of data sources.
Ensure that new software integration into company systems meet functional
requirements, system compliance and interface specifications
Jobs Duties/Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Plan and manage activities and projects that support web services.
Directs solutions to functional and technical problems.
Research, select, implement and maintain Web-Based Applications integrated with a variety of data sources.
Ensure that new software integration into company systems meet functional requirements, system compliance and interface specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop strategic and tactical plans to facilitate and coordinate the delivery of Web services and products.
Plan and participate in all phases of projects including development, design, testing and production of required services and products.
Track and test new technology and new techniques.
Research and make recommendations on software products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.
Evaluate, install, configure and deploy new applications, systems software, products and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the Enterprise.
Train teams in utilization of new technologies.
Promote strategic use of software service platform with IT Concepts (e.g. Cloud Computing Concept).
Design, develop and install application enhancements and upgrades.
Coordinate feasibility studies for software and system products under consideration for purchase and give advice based on findings.
Assures that application software, database software and operating systems are at current revision levels and ensures acceptable levels of performance and access for application systems, databases and operating systems
Ensure that applications meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfil end-user requirements, identify and resolve systems issues
Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency and develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems
Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage of Best Practices and Service Level Agreements
Responsible for the Enterprise’s Active Directory and Domain Control
Develop & maintain strong Enterprise Architectural systems design with Software Services and Platforms
Qualifications and Requirements:
B.SC. Computer Science or Engineering or relevant IT Facility Management degree
M.SC. MIS (Management Information System)/MBA an additional advantage
Professional Qualifications:
Other tech certification such as: CISA ,CISM , CISSP, OCA, etc
Experience:
At least 7 yrs of cognate post-NYSC experience in Information Technology, Microsoft applications and/or Physical Infrastructure with adequate work experience in a large Data Center.
Extensive Knowledge of Computing or Networking hardware & software
Microsoft applications, Linux or Unix
Familiarity with HVAC systems Area of knowledge includes
IT and Information & Service Management
Systems Design & Planning
IT systems installation & management
Strong knowledge of system and software Quality Assurance Best Practices and Methodologies.
Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems,
Technically fluent in programming languages
