You can use bookmarks in Safari to save URLs for your favorite websites or the websites that you visit regularly, by simply tapping the Bookmark icon and then tapping the save button on the add bookmark screen. However, if you create too many bookmarks you may find it difficult to locate your favorite website, a solution to this problem is organizing the bookmarks into themed folders.

In this tutorial, we will be giving you step by step instructions on how to create a new bookmark folder and how to place your bookmarks into these folders, so your bookmarks are organized and easy to find in Safari on your iPhone or iPad.

Creating a New Bookmark Folder:

Step 1: Tap the Bookmarks icon after launching Safari on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2: Tap the Edit button on the bottom-right of the screen.

Step 3: Tap on the “New Folder” option on the bottom-left of the screen.

Step 4: This will take you to the screen where you can create a new folder. Write the name of the folder in the title field and in the location field choose the location within the Bookmarks folder.

Step 5: Tap the bookmark option on the top-left corner of the screen to go back to the previous screen.

Step 6: Tap done at the bottom right of your screen to save your created folder.

How to place bookmarks into folders in Safari:

Step 1: To save a bookmark to a folder open safari and tap the bookmarks option.

Step 2: Tap “Edit” button on the bottom-right of the screen.

Step 3: Select the bookmark you want to place in the folder.

Step 4: Now select the location of the folder where you want to store the bookmark.

Step 5: Tap the bookmarks option on the top-left corner of the screen to go back to the previous screen.

Step 6: Tap the done option at the bottom-right corner of the screen to save the changes you have made.
