FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Brooklyn College of the City University of New York invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty (part-time) position for Spring 2017 in the Department of Kinesiology. Responsibilities include teaching the following courses: (i) Applied Musculoskeletal Anatomy, and/or (ii) Performance/Analysis in Fitness/Lifetime Activity.

The Kinesiology Department is an interdisciplinary department with distinct degree programs in exercise science, teacher education and sport management and an ongoing interest in pursuing linkages between them. It is our mission to provide high quality, multidisciplinary teaching, research, and community service to foster an environment of academic excellence and professionalism for students and faculty; advance scientific knowledge and ensure that its diverse students acquire the knowledge, skills, and values to make meaningful contributions. We offer graduate and undergraduate programs in exercise science and teacher education and a graduate program in sport management.

QUALIFICATIONS

For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Adjunct Associate Professor, or Adjunct Professor:
An earned doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Kinesiology or a closely related field.

For Adjunct Lecturer:
An earned master's degree from an accredited institution in Kinesiology or a closely related field.

COMPENSATION

Commensurate with education and experience. All appointments are subject to financial availability.
