Baruch College seeks to recruit an administrative coordinator to help support the staff and faculty of our Center for Teaching and Learning in administrative activities and the use of educational technologies. The coordinator also will work closely with the Office of Academic Assessment to support its administrative activities.

The administrative coordinator reports to the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning. The position supports projects, initiatives and activities that impact the Center for Teaching and Learning and the Office of Academic Assessment. This position will be responsible for the following duties:

* Coordinates CTL equipment loans to faculty and staff; collaborates with Baruch Technology and Computing Center (BCTC) HelpDesk to ensure that CTL equipment is in working order.

* Maintains department fiscal plans and budgets; assists in budget administration, personnel/time and leave administration and invoice processing.

* Coordinates meetings/events such as staff meetings, seminars, workshops, and the directors’ appointments.

* Runs data queries to develop reports.

* Prepares and sends out marketing materials.

* Updates content on the offices’ blogs/websites using Wordpress.

* Works collegially and collaboratively with staff and faculty on administrative, programming, marketing and/or outreach.

* May supervise office staff and student workers.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's Degree required

* Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to collect information, coordinate, and use technology to accomplish the tasks listed above

* Strong writing skills and attention to details

* Comfortable working individually on self-driven projects and under project deadlines

* Knowledge of basic graphic design and educational technologies including Wordpress, Microsoft Office, Google Docs is preferred

* Knowledge of Doodle and Microsoft Office is preferred

* Effective collaborative and communication skills

* Enthusiasm to learn is welcome

* Provides basic information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department.

* May supervise office staff and student workers.

* Performs related duties as assigned.
