The Denver Food and Wine event this weekend is put on by the Colorado Restaurant Association and Southern Wine & Spirits of Colorado for an opportunity to taste some of Colorado’s best wine, spirits and menu creations.

The schedule for Denver Food and Wine starts Wednesday and culminates on Saturday September 6th from 1-4pm with a grand tasting event from more than 30 of Denver’s top restaurants. Denver Food and Wine grand tasting is at Metro State University’s Auraria Campus. Tickets for the grand tasting event will get you access to tasting samples and drinks from participating restaurants.

This is the 10th year for the Denver Food and Wine event, and this event helps raise funds for the Denver Post Community Foundation, Colorado Restaurant Education Foundation and Metropolitan State University of Denver. Throughout the grand tasting event on Saturday, there will be culinary demonstrations from Troy Guard chef/owner of TAG, Los Chingones, Sugarmill, Bubu and TAG Burger Bar, Ian Kleinman chef/owner of the Inventing room and pastry chef Panzano Restaurant Amy Sayles.
