This course is part of a CCSJ "Learning Community" for Freshman.  This means it is connected to an English course and a Humanities course, all three of which students attend consecutively on M/W.  This means that the adjunct's ongoing communication with fellow faculty members in English and Humanities is required.  In addition, there will be one or two shared assignments among all of the classes in the Learning Community.  There is one shared text, Pope Francis' recent encyclical, "Laudato Si", although course-specific additional readings are required.
